Wolford Crystal Blaze Backseam Tights

Before anyone says anything, I have been meaning to do this pair for months now. I ended up doing them in August instead of March – missing most of the hat so I can slip into some heavier deniers for you all.

Once again I did try to have a search to see if anywhere sells them, however not many places do. You may be able to get your hands on a pair through a private seller.

From The Website: A sparkling classic: The legendary Velvet 66 provides the basis for this glimmering new take on the back seam. 140 sparkling Swarovski® crystals have been applied to the back of each leg of the tights, featuring four different colors.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: now these are some expensive hosiery I own, so you best believe I am going to take extra care getting them on! I got my hosiery gloves on, and did my scrunch and roll as carefully I could. I had to take extra care around the anklets, and then roll up slowly until I got them in place.

On The Legs: well this is one of my most expensive pairs I own and I was taking extra care in them today. I have to say I love the darker denier with this beautiful crystal backseam. It’s something so simple, yet so elegant and I absolutely love it. It took me some time to get the seams as straight as I could, but it did move now and again when it was brushed past objects.

I do like that these crystals are on a darker denier, as they really stand out compared to being on a sheerer pair. Plus it makes it a great pair to wear day or night.

The quality is spot on. I cannot fault this at all. Simple as.

The fit was perfect for me, and if I went one size up they would be looking a little darker as I would have extra material to play with. I had no gapping at all on the legs, giving me even coverage from toe to band.

The feel is just gorgeous. It is that soft, it’s like a baby’s first teddy bear. That cashmere, silky soft feel… I absolutely adore it and my legs were so comfortable all day. These certainly don’t irritate the legs either which is great for the sensitive ones!

That backseam has around 140 crystals I believe, and when I say they don’t come off easy – believe me. I went for it and picked at it to check if they fall off… they don’t. They are on there with some magic glue to keep them in place without them budging a single bit.

The Toes & Ankle: around the toes, I have a lovely flush finish with a reinforced toe. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and there was no pressure added either.

Around the feet and ankles, I expected wrinkling to occur – and nothing. These are a fitted finish.

The Waistband: and a lovely waistband it is. I had a nice amount of elasticity in there to hug my waist all day long with no issues. I didn’t experience any rolling down or it squeezing me too tight. I also like the ribbed waistband – it was so comfortable to wear.

My Thoughts?

If you can get your hands on a pair – DO SO!
