Happy New Year Babes!
I thought I would do a little glitzy post celebrating today, seeing as I can’t be doing that after today (otherwise it’ll be looking super weird!) I thought it would be super cute to really dress like a glitterball to celebrate today.

The Packaging: these came in a slim size box (like they normally tend to) with the model wearing the hosiery on the front and the back going into a little more detail. When you get into them, you will find them flat packed around card, with my leg or foot shaping to them.
On The Legs: as these are a one size, don’t expect too much from them is what I will say. I found that these did look amazing on the legs, but oh my God did I have the hardest time in them during the day!
These kept on falling down my legs so they ended up scrunching bigtime at the ankles, with the gusset well away from me and half way down my thighs.
As gorgeous as these may look – they are certainly not practical for the slimmer leg!
The denier is perfect so you get some decent black coverage on the legs (this will stretch out into a lighter denier if you’re legs are a little more plumpy) with the snowflakes scattered all around. Once again these will stretch out too – they did on the thighs more than the bottom half of my legs.
The quality of these are ok; I do blame the sequins at the bottom of my dress which ended up badly catching my tights and making tons of snag marks all over the thighs (front and back that is!) Oh and once again, let me mention again how much stretch these do have. The benefit of a ‘one size’ pair is that you have plenty of material and stretch to them but the downfall is not such a great fit on the legs.
The design of these are perfect for winter; they just sparkle so nicely and really do make an outfit stand out. I know I went OTT with mine, but it worked!
The Toes & Ankle: the toes don’t have any snowflakes across them as these are reinforced (which is great) with plenty of wiggle room (I would be so surprised if there wasn’t any) and no extra material at the sides of the toes.
Around the ankles, they look smooth in the image below (this is when I first put them on) but if you do have slim legs which won’t make the tights stretch much then don’t forget these will start to crease and wrinkle at the ankles, so be prepared.
The Waistband: I gotta say the waistband is a waste! These did nothing for me whatsoever during the day; I had to keep pulling them up, they sit so high (we are talking at least 2 inches up from my belly button) and they were so uncomfortable. They started to roll over itself so you get that horrible band poking through (if you’re wearing tighter fitted clothing).
I seriously despise this band; it’s one of the worst I have come across in a very long time. I get that it’s supposed to be one size fits all; I feel there is no point to this waistband at all. You might as well tie it to the side with an elastic band; they might actually stay up on the waist then.
It would be better if you are a larger size on the waist and hips, as it will stretch enough for you and stay put, but it’s a certain no go for me!

My Thoughts?
Overall I think these are super cute, but not really worth it in my eyes. I hated the band with a passion, they snag super easy and the quality is just poor – especially when it comes to ‘one size fits all’. I’m glad that I gave them a go, but honestly I don’t think it’s worth the hassle if you’re slim.
