Penti Yoki Gibi Barely There Tights

Oh I am hoping that summer comes soon. As much as I like winter knits and cosiness, I do miss my summer skirts and dresses, and not having to layer all the time!

So I have reviewed something similar, but in a sock form (hit the 3rd link below to see this), so I am excited to see what they are like as tights.

These were kindly gifted from my Amazon Wishlist to review.

My Outfit

I kept it super simple for the office this morning, purely because I was running late (overslept!) I paired my jumper dress and added some simple court shoes to finish the look.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: with these being a thin denier, I got the gloves out and was ready to do my thing! I did my scrunch and roll slowly, as I didn’t want to risk ruining them. I rolled them slowly up the feet, passing my anklets carefully before I rolled them up the legs and set in place. It always helps being cautious with delicate hosiery – the last thing you need is a snag!

On The Legs: I will say these are a true low denier pair, purely because of how sheer they are on the legs. I didn’t expect them to look as great as they do, which made me smile!

The quality is pretty decent, but I will say anything under 10 denier is extra prone to damage – and I ended up making a few snags and a small hole during my wear. I have no idea how the hole even happened, but it’s there and glaring at me. I can’t blame the brand here as I thought they were well made.

The fit of these were true to size, and I had plenty of stretch in these to achieve even leg coverage. I didn’t need to pull or tug these at any point, and there was no gapping to be found behind the knees.

The feel of them are silky soft, and really smooth. These have a semi-shine to them, which makes them have this lovely shine with the right lighting. I couldn’t quite capture it today, but trust me on that one.

The Toes & Ankle: these don’t come with any reinforcements to them, which is a shame as I would hate for my nails to poke right through them with the wrong footwear. With the heels I was in, they were fine but I was constantly having to check to make sure.

I had plenty of wiggle room, and no pressure was added to my toes either. Around the feet and ankles, it’s a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: the waistband comes with a t-band reinforcement underneath as you can see below The band itself is quite thick, and holds up really well during the day. These have plenty of elasticity to it, so it hugs the waist well and doesn’t shimmy down. I also found it stays flush against the skin, and doesn’t roll over itself which is another great point.

The cotton gusset sits flush against the skin too, and is super comfortable too.

My Thoughts?

A great pair if you prefer thinner deniers. I actually quite like being in this pair, even if I did end up damaging them slightly. The barely there look is perfect!
