Running errands today and I cannot believe how long it took me to pick an outfit to go with plain sheer tights. Normally I can just look at a pair and an outfit will spring to mind, but today I had serious mind block. I could not think of what outfit to do;

“do I wear shorts? Shall I stick to a skirt? How about a nice dress? Nah maybe shorts now… Shall I add some colour somewhere? Shall I do that with lippy instead? Or maybe heels?“

Trust me when I say the struggle was real this morning to make up my mind on what I wanted to wear today!

My Outfit

I opted for my crochet jumper tucked into my skirt and I added my Converses to keep it simple and casual. I could easily pair some tan booties or heels with this, but as i was out and about, I thought it was best to be in flats for a change!

The Packaging: very straight to the point packaging we have here with Marilyn 🙂

The front shows the model wearing them in a nude colour, and the back goes into a little more detail about the pair, along with the sizing guide and hosiery care.

When you get in, you will find these flat folded wrapped around plain card.

 

Getting Them On: I took my time rolling these from the toes to the calves, making sure that my anklets stay out of the way so they don’t catch them. These are quite thin to touch, so I would advise spending some time getting these on rather than a rush job.

 

On The Legs: I used a mix of natural lighting and some flash so you can see what they are like.

These are a matte finish, but with the flash on, they become semi-matte as they have this cute subtle shine. It’s nothing oily looking, but just a nice amount of shine if you do catch the light.

The quality of these are so damn good! I have spent the whole day in them, bashing myself about against doors and tables trying to get things done, and not once have these got caught. I proper tested them out today with what I had to do, and I gotta say these are a fabulous pair!

The fit of these are true to size, with plenty of stretch to them so it could potentially work for a size medium as well if you’re in-between sizes. I would still say try to get the most closest size to you, but just know you do have some stretch in these if you did need to go a size lower.

The feel of them are so silky soft; I loved the way they felt and the fact that they helped my skirt to swish and sway rather than stick to it. I have had it in the past where my skirts have done that and it’s a right pain! These are gorgeous to touch and they certainly help that they are a semi-matte finish so they help slim the legs whilst giving that adorable shine!

 

The Toes & Ankle: the toes are reinforced, so you don’t have to worry about nails creating unnecessary holes where they don’t belong. These have plenty of wiggle room to them; around the toes and feet.

Around the ankle, it’s a fitted finish with no signs of wrinkles whatsoever.

 

The Waistband & Gusset:  now the waistband is my favourite part. Not only is it a slim one, but they have a massive reinforced part to them with the branding name sewn in too.

These were so comfortable to be in throughout the day, and the best part is that these are a hipster pair, so they will sit slightly lower than most pairs. Mine was just touching my belly button, but it did slowly slide a little lower and sat comfy for the rest of the day like that.

The gusset is a decent size; giving great coverage for your intimate areas. It’s a cotton patch, which allows you to breath and feel secure whilst wearing them too.

 

 

My Thoughts?

I have to say I do love these! They are so affordable, and do the job just as great as more higher end brands would. I had no issues with these whatsoever and I would certainly recommend this pair for sure!
