Levante Brillante Tights

Levante makes its way to the blog after having some time away, and yet this time I am working with shine. I do like to bring out shiny tights this time of year, as it gets darker these shine a little more when you catch the right light.

I decided to dress this pair for work instead of casual, as I realised not many people know how to wear shiny tight to work!

The Packaging

Getting Them On: on go the hosiery gloves to get this pair on. I did my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets. These were a lovely glide up the legs, and what helped to get them on the right way was the leg and foot shaping to the pair.

On The Legs: I had to do some before and after flash shots for you all, so you could see this lovely lustre shine this pair has. You can see it slightly in natural lighting, however nothing beats seeing it with flash on!

The quality of this pair… is always as good as the last. I do like Levante as they are affordable and they have great quality when it comes to their pairs. I did manage to snag these when I was taking them off (my fault here) however they lasted so well all day.

The fit of these were perfect for me. I had enough stretch in them for it to sit well on the legs without feeling loose or tight. These also had no gapping to them around the knees/ankles. I would recommend going one size up if you’re unsure as there is no harm in doing so – I did with this pair and it worked so well for me (probably better than a Small would).

I do need to add here that the lighting does change the shade of these, as you can see in some of the images below. Generally these are quite pale looking, however I found that in warmer lighting – these look warmer. It is a pair that switches in lighting, which I suppose is not a bad thing.

The feel of these are absolutely stunning! They are so soft and so silky sooth – to the point your legs are gliding everywhere, They are great to wear under any clothing you choose as it will glide past the tights without feeling/being tugged. They are a lovely pair and I enjoyed being in them today!

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes (as shown below) which do have a darker, thicker denier to them, These would be a little harder to hide if you’re wearing larger open toe sandals – peep toes shouldn’t be an issue.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and there was no pressure added during the day either.

Around the toes and ankle, these were a soft, smooth finish with no wrinkles.

The Waistband & Gusset: this has a great waistband to it, with reinforcement underneath it. The band itself is quite thin, and it does have a tendency to roll over itself from time to time. However, it isn’t a huge issue but something to be aware of.

I had plenty of stretch in the band for it to sit on the waist well; it wasn’t too tight or loose on me. I really liked the band on these.

These do have a small gusset to them, which do sit flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

I really like this pair! They fit really well, and that shine is just gorgeous! This is a great pair to wear day or night, and one that can easily be layered with to create some fantastic looks!
