YES to a statement outfit, and I am feeling mine today. I wanted something that would be ok to wear to work and still be turning heads – and I came up with wearing Fiore Giulietta to do just that. These are such a fun pair, and I love anything polka dotty – especially when they are oversized!
These were originally sent from UKTights, however as they are now out of stock, I found another seller that still has them available.

Yep the cerise skirt is out to play. I paired it with my satin cami top tucked in and added some lace up sandals to keep it fun. You can always change to court shoes, but I wanted that extra look so I left the sandals on!
Cami Top: New Look
Skirt: Miss Selfridge
From The Website: Patterned, transparent, t-band tights with a comfortable ribbing and a flat seam. Cotton gusset in sizes 3 and 4, double cotton gusset in size 5.
Invisibly reinforced toe portion.
Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll up the legs, taking care going over my anklets. I did a glide up the legs, with a little tug at the tight to make sure I have enough material for my waist and hips.
They were super easy to roll on this morning!
On The Legs: how awesome do these polka dots look? I love how big and bold they look – and now I wish I wore a shorter skirt to really show them off. They are a pair that can work with any outfit you like; shorts, dresses, under trousers etc. They are super playful and look amazing!
The quality of these are pretty nice, and they have lasted nearly all day with barely any snags. I managed to get a few when I’ve lifted my skirt up a few times, but other than that I hardly got any. I suppose a midi skirt here did me favours from scraping my tights against the desk etc.
The fit of these are true to size, and these were perfect for me. I had plenty of stretch in these for my leg length and width so I didn’t have to tug so much up the legs. I would recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing just in case you may need to go a size up. They hugged my legs really well, and there was no gapping either. I really liked the fit here.
The feel of them are lovely and smooth; they are super soft against the skin and do not irritate the legs in any way. These would also make a great pair to layer with! The polka dots are a thicker denier, and you will be able to feel this when you touch it. It is sewn in with the tights, but you may find parts that you have been resting on to be marked on your legs for a few minutes once you take them off.
The Toes & Ankle: I like that these have invisible reinforced toes, which means I didn’t have to worry about showing off the toes here. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and there was no pressure added either.
Around the feet and ankles, they have a lovely smooth fitted finish with no wrinkles. To be fair, with these sandals the wrinkles wouldn’t peer through as much, if I did have some.
The Waistband & Gusset: as you can see below, we have a good waistband that has enough elasticity in it and holds up so well, but it does start to wrinkle down on itself during the day. I did have it rolling over itself at one point, but t stopped doing that and started wrinkling down instead. Luckily, these didn’t fall down or anything, but something to note.
The gusset is a small cotton patch, that sat flush against the skin on me.
I really like how great these look, and the quality has not been bad at all – all thanks to my midi skirt! I would happily recommend these if polka dots are your thing!
