And hello new brand to the blog!! This is a brand which I came across not too long back, and though they were adorable. They aren’t your typical everyday leggings that is for sure!
I had the option to pick which pair I would like, and seeing as they didn’t have tortoises I picked my next love – HEDGEHOGS!

Hi! My name is Jill and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor by trade, however I have enjoyed working as a nanny for the past two years. And as a nanny, I learned REAL quick that I would have to wear something comfortable to work my 10 hour days, five times a week. I was skeptical of leggings at first, but after one shift I knew that’s all I would ever be wearing! I soon had over 30 pairs of leggings in my collection, but couldn’t find just the right pair. I needed leggings with dogs on them, I needed leggings with unicorns on them… so I decided to start designing and selling the patterns/prints that I fell in love with! And that’s how Beautifully Unique Leggings was born!

On The Legs: these are so snug and so comfortable. It was really easy to move in them without feeling restricted.
I do have to say I found these slightly big on me; mainly on the waist and a bit behind the knees as it was quite baggy. They sit sit well but there was a lot of room around the waist (and it’s prone to slipping down)
What I do love about these is that they are a proper nice thick material with plenty of stretch to them as well; and it doesn’t distort the pattern on the leggings either. I did pull these a lot to see if it would, but they actually don’t.
Around The Ankle: so as you can see there is some slightly gapping around the ankle, which isn’t too much of an issue, but you would want them slightly more fitted in.
The Waistband: so the waistband has a cute little hidden pocket. It took me ages to realise where it was! It’s quite small, so perfect for loose change or something really.
So the image on the right shows you how much room I had between myself and the leggings. Once again it isn’t a major issue, but if I was working out, I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing these in case they do start to slip down.
My Thoughts?
These are so cute, and the fact you can get them in a variety of patterns and prints is just a bonus. I do love the quality of these, which is worth the money in my eyes. Shame they don’t fit as great as I thought they would.
