I got my hands on another pair of embellished fishnets to try out. I wanted to go them under ripped jeans, but then decided against it as the weather wasn’t too bad today – so opted for a long dress instead.
This pair was bought from Amazon a good while back, and they no longer have them available to purchase.

Going a little cute but edgy to work today wearing my polka dot midi skater dress paired with suede court shoes to keep it a little professional looking. You can easily swap to white heels instead or maybe some open toe heels if you really wanna jazz it up.
The Packaging: now this was fun(!) to play around with this morning. The front of it reminds me of the packaging you get in Forever21 – it doesn’t tell you much here to be honest, and the same can be said for the back of the packaging too.
When you get in, you will find these with plain card inserted inside. I struggled to get he card out, and if you scroll further down to the videos, you will see why. These are flat folded so you don’t get any foot or leg shaping to them.
Once I did get the card out of the leg, I found that the beading already comes off, and this is before I even have done the scrunch and roll to get them onto the legs!
Getting Them On:
the struggle is real is the perfect description here
If I had a base pair on, it wouldn’t have been so bad, but as I didn’t I kept getting my toes caught in-between the netting the whole time and then I had to adjust the embellishments to make sure they sit at the front instead of inside of the legs. It was too much hassle for my liking this morning! These are also fine over anklets as they will be falling out of the tights anyways.
On The Legs: well let me tell you these were a pain to be in. I’ll start off with the embellishments – they just kept breaking off the tights the whole day so I kept seeing pearls scattered all over the floor. And not only that, the embellishments work right up to the tushy so you have the pleasure of it digging in.
These are more hassle than it’s worth to be honest
The quality is really bad; they are a one size pair, which turned out to be quite loose on me so I had the pearls moving side to side and front to back for most of the day whilst I was on the move. I mean if you’re a larger size, then I’m sure these would fit and hug the legs a lot better than these did on me.
The feel of them are pretty smooth for fishnets, which was one thing I was happy about. They aren’t the type to irritate the legs during the day.
The embellishments do look super cute, and I bought them for that reason, but practically – these are just not worth it. They are a pain to get on, the pearls fall off super easily and they don’t fit as well as I expected them to. It was a total disappointment.
The Toes & Ankle: as you can see the toes have reinforcement to them with that smaller netting which works from the toe seam down to the bottom of the toes. This helps to make sure that you don’t end up with the net in-between your toes and for a comfort fit.
I had little wiggle room to move my toes, but it wasn’t a big deal considering these tights were already letting me down in many ways.
Around the feet and ankles, it was a good fit but not the greatest. I didn’t end up having any wrinkles gathering around my ankles, but it wasn’t exactly a fitted finish like I normally have it.
The Waistband & Gusset: I thought I would point out these do not have a gusset attached to them. It will be a seam that brings the tights together that sits in the middle.
The band as you can see is thin, and pretty poorly put together. This does slip down from time to time, so unless you don’t mind wearing underwear on top to help keep it up, then by all means. I was so annoyed these did not stay up around the waist like they’re supposed to. Once again, if you have larger hips and waist, then these might sit better on you, but they did me no favours.
I would not recommend at all; they were a disaster even though they look super cute. I spent most of my day faffing about and pulling them up when I got the chance.
