Wolford Sina Tights

Now let’s check out these! I got these a while back, from eBay I believe at a real good price. But as they are no longer available under the same seller, I have found another link which currently have a few pairs left.

I thought these were so striking when I saw the model wear gobi/white (Gobi will be the nude base colour and the white design) but it took me a while to actually get into these due to the horrible cold weather.

The Review

From The Website: An eye-catcher at second glance. The stay-up effect featuring bold patterned squares is an absolute style highlight.

Wide waistband for increased durability
Comfortable, soft knitted waistband
Sheer matt tights
Circular knit
A must for experimenting with different skirt lengths.

The Packaging: now for ages I thought I bought the pair that the model was wearing, and not checking the bad like an idiot, it stopped from reviewing them sooner. As soon as I got into the packaging, I saw that these were the black design and realised this was the one I actually wanted and gone for. So there was me time-wasting for no reason!

Anyways the model on the front shows you what I mentioned in my opening speech, along with more detail on the back about the hosiery, hosiery care and the sizing guide. When you get in, you will find the certificate of quality, along with the hosiery horizontally folded around promotional card.

Getting Them On: yep I didn’t use gloves this time as my nails are short enough to do this without catching 🙂

I did my usual scrunch and roll up the legs, taking care over my anklets. These were a lovely smooth run up the leg and then it gets to adjusting the design. These do sit quite high on the leg I have to admit, so my skirt does cover 1/4 of it.

Check my little bobble head out in the reflection there lol!

On The Legs: so Gobi has to be one of my favourite shades from Wolford. It has this slight tan feel to them which I love and it really do work well against my skin tone. I find the shades to be quite light and it actually can make the legs look pretty pasty.

The fit and feel of these are amazing; they fit so well being XS as I am in-between sizes with Wolford.  These had enough stretch in them to sit on the legs well. The feel are just super smooth as always.

The quality of these are spot on; I have no complaints with this whatsoever .. So I shall leave that there.

As you can see with some images, I added flash to show you what they would look like, and you can slightly tell that little shine they have. Otherwise in normal daylight, these look like matted tights.

The design is just striking; it’s a bold thigh piece which can be noticed with shorter dresses and skirts, which I love. It somehow also acts like a hold-ups band in a way which I quite like the idea of!

The Toes & Ankle: once again no complaints. Plenty of wiggle room in these, no extra material hanging around anywhere and a lovely fit all around. I don’t these are reinforced so do take care with long/sharp nails.

Around the ankles is a lovely fitted finish.

The Waistband: the waistband does me well once again. These are a slim elasticated top and then works down into the gobi sheer. They stay up ever so well throughout the day without and issues, and they have plenty of elasticity in them to stop it from becoming loose after wear.

My Thoughts?

Overall I think these are amazing; a proper striking design and it works so well to complete any outfit. I love the fit and quality of these too!
