We are back, in WHITE! I have loved doing the Satin 20 Holdups (or stay-ups even) and I was invited to try these out in white for a review.
I have tried this pair before in Black and Gobi, and if you missed that review you can catch it below (opens in a new tab):
Materials: 87% Nylon, 13% Elastane
Website: Amazon – Wolford Women’s Tights
I haven’t worn this dress in a while, and I decided it was time to glam it up a bit with white holdups and some statement heels for the sake of it.
Dress: Blue Banana
Heels: Public Desire
From The Website: A hint of romance: this transparent sheer stay-up promises nothing but brilliant moments. Wolford’s Satin Touch Hold ups offer an elegant satin finish and a charming lace top lend any occasion a seductive tone while enduring exclusive comfort. These shiny, sheer stay ups feature a wide, luxurious lace band with a pretty floral pattern and a barley visible shadow toe reinforcement. The perfect style for every day and every occasion- another great investment from Wolford. 89% Nylon, 11% Elastane
- Wide, luxurious lace band with a floral pattern and the Wolford logo

Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets. I then just took my time to slowly pull these up and set them in place, making sure I set them with the Wolford sign at the front and the seam at the back.
On The Legs: trying them out in white is just as good as Black and Gobi to be honest. I love that bridal look they have, and I am glad I got to try them with an outfit that you can wear on a day to day basis (except the heels – I went glam on those!) The white is a beautiful colour for sure.
The quality of this pair is amazing; I had no issues whatsoever with snagging or any damage occurring.
The fit of them are true to size, and this time I went one size up. I’ve tested out the XS in these, but this time I wanted to go Small to see what they would be like. I think going a size up gives me more of a white finish on the legs, rather than it looking super sheer.
The feel of them are lovely; they are super soft, they glide on the legs well and they are gorgeous to wear all day. These don’t irritate the skin in any way either.
The Toes & Ankle: these have an invisible reinforced toe to them, purely because you can see them change in texture from the toenails to where my toes end. However, I will still say make sure you’re careful with long or sharp nails.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was added around the toes either. Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely fitted finish.
The Bands: so the bands on these are gorgeous! I haven’t done deep lace bands for a while now, and I was nicely surprised with this pair. I love that they have their brand in the middle of the pair, which is then surrounded by an intricate lace pattern.
As I mentioned before, I sat my band a little lower down the thigh than I normally would, and I still felt comfortable. I know a lot of you sit it higher for the same reasons I do, but I will say I was comfy with sitting them here.
Another great thing is these have 4 silicone bands to work with on this pair! It means these will stay secure all day with no issues!
These are just as good as the last 2 colours I have tried out – and I have no complaints!
