Day 12 of my holdups of the day series features a touch of true luxury with the Wolford Satin Touch 20 Stay‑Up in Gobi – another carefully chosen pair from my Amazon Wishlist.

Wolford is an Austrian heritage brand that’s been crafting premium hosiery since 1950, combining refined materials with technical expertise to create some of the most sought‑after legwear in the world. The Satin Touch range, in particular, has become a signature style for the label, known for its elegant sheen and timeless silhouette that works for both everyday dressing and special occasions.

I haven’t worn this dress in so long – so out it comes to play! I went with this number and added my perspex slingbacks to finish the look.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: hosiery gloves on once again, and on they pop. These were super easy to roll on this morning; I did my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets. I set them in place pretty high up the thigh and voila.

On The Legs: this colour is so me! I absolutely love this shade because it suits me to a T! Plus they make the legs look amazing without even trying. I love that they have such a beautiful shine to them too, without even needing flash to really light up.

The quality of this pair is amazing; I had no issues whatsoever with snagging or any damage occurring.

The fit of them are true to size, and this time I went one size up. I’ve tested out the XS in these, but this time I wanted to go Small to see what they would be like. I like that they don’t end up being super sheer looking.

The feel of them are lovely; they are super soft, they glide on the legs well and they are gorgeous to wear all day. These don’t irritate the skin in any way either.

The Toes & Ankle:  these have an invisible reinforced toe to them, purely because you can see them change in texture from the toenails to where my toes end. However, I will still say make sure you’re careful with long or sharp nails.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was added around the toes either. Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely fitted finish.

The Bands: so the bands on these are gorgeous! I love that they have their brand in the middle of the pair, which is then surrounded by an intricate lace pattern.

Another great thing is these have 4 silicone bands to work with on this pair! It means these will stay secure all day with no issues!

My Thoughts?

Yep a win – simple as that to be honest. They are to die for, and I loved my time in them, especially with this dress!
