Yep you’re seeing right. This is me out and about! I haven’t done one for so long, I had to get my camera man back out to do me a shoot. We spent the day mooching around London, having a huge foodie day. We hit up so many places, eating our way through.
Now this pair I have done in a gobi colour a few years back, and I wanted to try them out in black to see if they have the same effect. I tested it out with natural lighting going from day to night.

I went with a black and grey ensemble to match the new coat. I added a scarf and fedora hat to keep it looking super chic!

Shimmering Shiny Finish
Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll, taking my time around the toes and anklets, before I slowly rolled them up the legs. These have a nice amount of stretch to them, so it was easy enough to get them on without tugging at them frequently.
On The Legs: okay so these are a mix of images, taken at different times and places to really show them off. Obviously I had to take care in them, because people were bumping into me all day long with how busy it was around Central London.
So the quality of this pair was great to begin with, but I did put it to the test and found these snag very easily. Luckily it was only a few, but the fact they appeared I was not impressed. I am thankful they didn’t run into runs or worse, but it was annoying.
The fit of these were true to size. I had plenty of material and stretch to achieve smooth, even coverage with no gapping. I would advise going one size up to ensure you have enough material if you’re in-between sizing.
The feel of them are super soft and really smooth on the legs. I had no worries with irritation either, which is always good when you spend the day out in them. These are pretty much identical to the last pair, but with issues as the only difference.
I don’t feel that these packed a shine like the last pair did, which is a shame as these would have looked pretty great. You got get a slight shimmer but nothing as blinding as the last pair.
The Toes & Ankle: so toes was one I couldn’t do in public because it looked a little too odd with people already staring. These don’t come with reinforced toes unfortunately, however as long as you take care with your nails in them – you should be good. My nails weren’t too long and super smooth, and I lasted in the wearing just boots on top, so you can see they didn’t end up with any issues.
Around the feet and ankles, these have a soft, smooth finish with no wrinkling.
The Waistband & Gusset: so the waistband is nice! It was my favourite part of the pair to be honest. These did not roll down at all, and they stayed looking this nice all day long.
These come with flat seams, which helps under tight clothing, and there is a gusset which sits flush against the skin.
So I was a little disappointed in this pair considering the gobi coloured pair was so good in comparison. I do like the fit and the feel, but otherwise they were a little let down.
