Well hey there Neon 40! It’s been a while since I have been in a pair of Wolford Neon – and I am super glad I get to do such a bold colour too! I did a pair in black a while ago, and absolutely loved them!

My Outfit
I decided to go a bold look for work – well pretty basic with the black and white, but adding a pop of colour with my tights. I added a black jacket on top and a blue and white scarf so the pieces compliments each other.

The Packaging: the model wears the hosiery on the front, and the back goes into more detail about the tight themselves. The model wears the tights in black on the front of the packaging, but you get to see the colour through the little window at the top.
Once you get in, you will find the COQ sticker on one side and the rights wrapped around promo card on the other. I gotta say I love this blue!
Getting Them On: these were super easy to get up the legs, but mind any anklets if you wear them under your tights like I do. I took my time and made sure that they sat well over the anklets before I got them up the legs.

On The Legs: well let me start off by saying that shine is just to die for. I did a few comparison images (as well as a video on YouTube) to show you the difference between natural lighting and flash. It instantly adds this gloss, which I think looks absolutely amazing, and perfect for those sparkle parties coming up!
The quality of these are just mint; I can never say anything against their quality as it’s always spot on. I had no issues with rips or snags whilst wearing these – and I would hope not considering these are a thicker denier.
The fit of them are great; I am in-between XS and Small, and if I had opted for Small, I would have had more stretch in them so I could get more of a solid colour over the legs. X-Small isn’t bad at all, as it gives me a slight ombre effect on the legs which I quite like.
The feel of them are super smooth and silky on the legs. With that shine, it acts like a coating on top, which keeps your legs slipping off one another. I gotta say you can tell they are a luxury pair as soon as you get your legs into them.
The colour is just divine; I wasn’t too sure what they would look like on the legs, but I can certainly say they look fabulous! I wanted to create a statement look, and that I certainly did do.
The Toes & Ankle: are amazing on this pair, They are quite thick around the foot and toes, but that isn’t a bad thing if it means it’s reinforced all over so you won’t get any rips! I had plenty of wiggle room in these for my toes to move and breathe during the day, and the same goes for the feet too.
It’s such a gorgeous fitted finish around the feet and ankles, which makes them perfect to wear with open sandals or shoes.
The Waistband: the band on a Wolford is always amazing! I never have any issues with them; they always sit so perfect on the waist. This one shows a nice thick reinforced section under the band itself, before it works into the 40 denier.
The band is never tight on the waist, but hugs so well throughout the day. It has plenty of elasticity to it, which stays taut no matter how much you pull and tug at it.
The gusset to these are small and sewn into the pair. It is roughly palm-sized, so if you choose to wear without any underwear, you have the chance to do so without any irritation or gapping between the gusset and the skin.
My Thoughts?
I gotta say the Neon 40 never lets me down. I loved it the 1st time round, and I love it even more in such a gorgeous eye-catching blue. I love the quality of them and that shine is just stunning!
Great review haven’t as of yet to buy a pair of neon 40’s always wanted a pair. I missed out on the electric blue which I wanted but waited to long. You would think that a color like that and sold out fast they would bring them back. Here’s hoping but don’t think so guess will get a pair of the blue shadow in my size.
