Wolford Neon 40 Tights (Currant Berry)

Another colour pop is making its way onto the blog, and it is just BEAUTIFUL! I had to get feminine with this pair purely because it was hard not to!

This will be more of a picture blog rather than an in-depth one as I have reviewed these numerous times, so a lot of what I have to say will have been repeated over and over. I will mention the colour and any other bits I may find below.

The Review

From The Website: Endlessly elegant: Semi-sheer tights with an extraordinarily luxurious sheen for a particularly brilliant look. The soft waistband with Wolford logo and almost invisible toe reinforcement ensure all-round comfort.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: these were a lovely slip on the legs. I did make sure I left enough room when going over my anklets so they don’t catch in any way. I did find spots where i felt slightly rough, but I will discuss that below.

On The Legs: I won’t go into grave detail here as these are practically the same as the others pairs I have reviewed before – only difference is this vibrant colour!

I think it’s a colour that works so well from Autumn-Spring, especially when pairing with lighter colours like I have. I found that the colour varies depending on the lighting, which I found with the tempest pair. But the best part is when the flash comes on and dazzles you with its lustre shine!

I did also find that these snagged a lot more easily than any other pair I have worn before; it had a bunch of snags around the thighs and that was before I got them on this morning. I even found some rough patches on the legs in certain spots, which I cannot explain. I found that to be extremely weird, but maybe just a faulty pair that missed its quality check.

The fit of these were spot on, and the feel was just incredible on the legs.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes, which can be seen in the 3rd image below. It is quite faint, which works if you wish to wear open toe footwear with these. I had plenty of wiggle room for my feet to move, and no pressure was added either.

Around the feet and ankles, these have a smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: the band on a Wolford is always amazing! I never have any issues with them; they always sit so perfect on the waist. This one shows a nice thick reinforced section under the band itself, before it works into the 40 denier.

The band is never tight on the waist, but hugs so well throughout the day. It has plenty of elasticity to it, which stays taut no matter how much you pull and tug at it.

The gusset to these are small and sewn into the pair. It is roughly palm-sized, so if you choose to wear without any underwear, you have the chance to do so without any irritation or gapping between the gusset and the skin. These sat flush against the skin on me.

My Thoughts?

A beautiful colour that really did blow me away today. I think it looks stunning, especially when paired with whites and creams. The quality was a little different that what I am used to, but it didn’t stop me from being in them all day long.
