Wolford Neon 40 Tights (Acai)

I previously done Wolford Neon 40 Tights (Currant Berry) and absolutely loved the colour of these, so these Acai will be a great one to try out. Naturally Acai is a darker reddish/purple berry so I paired with a statement skirt to blend them in.

My Outfit

I didn’t want to go too dark with my outfit, so I added a white cami top to break it up a little. I now should have tried white heels with this instead of black… Anyways I paired up my floral scuba skirt and added sandals to finish the look.

The Review

From The Website: Endlessly elegant: Semi-sheer tights with an extraordinarily luxurious sheen for a particularly brilliant look. The soft waistband with Wolford logo and almost invisible toe reinforcement ensure all-round comfort.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll up the legs, taking care going over my anklets. I took my time rolling them up the legs so I don’t randomly snag them.

On The Legs: I have to say I do like this colour – it’s like a blood shade, but lighter if that makes sense. At first I didn’t know what to think, but the more I looked at them, the more I began to like them.

The quality on this pair is great; no weird markings, no easy snagging and no damage! They have been a great pair to work with today – but then again I did have a long skirt covering most of the leg so that helped.

The fit of them are great; I am in-between XS and Small, and Small worked out so well for me, as I have a little more stretch to the to get more of a solid colour than an ombre effect. They hugged the legs really well, and there as no gapping around the knees or ankles.

The feel of them are super smooth and silky on the legs. With that shine, it acts like a coating on top, which keeps your legs slipping off one another. I gotta say you can tell they are a luxury pair as soon as you get your legs into them. They also don’t irritate the legs either, which is always a bonus.

The Toes & Ankle: these have reinforced toes to them, which blend in nicely with the rest of the foot. It isn’t that obvious until you look up close, but the fact that they have them is a huge bonus for me. It gives me that peace of mind that it won’t easily rip here no matter what type of footwear I wear. My toes had plenty of wiggle room in them and there was no pressure added during the day either.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s a lovely fitted finish with no wrinkles.

The Waistband & Gusset: is super comfortable and lovely to wear all day long. It comes with a reinforced part under the band before it becomes sheer. The band itself is pretty thin and has their logo going round the band.

The band itself has a lovely amount of elasticity to it, to the point it hugs really well without you feeling it whilst you move. These sat around the belly button on me, and not once did they roll or shimmy down my waist.

The gusset is a palm sized piece, and sits flush against the skin. This gives you the option to wear them with or without underwear.

My Thoughts?

These are such a great pair, and I love this colour; it’s different and I like it. I could create a good few vintage inspired outfits with this colour!
