So as I am on this journey experimenting white hosiery and all things relating to the white shade, I have this lovely pair to review. These were gifted off my Amazon Wishlist, and I was super excited to get these as I can’t remember the last time I wore Merino Wool tights (I honestly don’t think I have) so let’s see what these are like in the day of Soni.
Materials: 49% Polyamide, 49% Virgin wool, 2% Elastane
As I am still new to white tights, I keep my pairing quite safe. I picked a cream turtle neck top, paired with my brown faux leather skirt and added matching brown court shoes to finish the look.
From The Website: Sensationally warming, adorably beautiful: these tights should be worn with elegant clothing even when the warm days have gone by. Their high merino wool content offers unparalleled comfort and the feel that comes with a good look. The moisture-absorbing properties of the wool also create a pleasant temperature on the skin. Wolford’s merino tights feature a comfortable knitted waistband, a virgin wool gusset and a reinforced toe, sole and heel for added comfort. An absolute must for a women’s wardrobe in the cold season. 49% virgin wool, 49% nylon, 2% elastane.

Reinforced Toe, Sole and Heel
Getting Them On: you’ll notice further down the blog that these come with reinforced toes and a heel too. I popped those in place, before I started rolling these up the legs. I took extra care going around the anklets as I didn’t want them to catch on. These were a lovely smooth roll up the legs, before setting them in place.
On The Legs: I just need to say I have not experienced comfort like that, especially knowing they are wool. At first I felt they were letting the cold in, as I was walking around. But I did feel them start to warm up as the day went on, and they were super cosy too. I didn’t feel they were too thick or overheating my legs. They felt like any other opaque pair I have worn before, but better. I like how they have texture to them, which makes them stand out.
The quality is beautiful; they are very well made, and they have been great on the legs. I will say I did all I could to keep them from harm’s way – and I succeeded. I made sure these were safe from any damage, as I wanted to keep these going for as lng as I could.
The fit was sot on, and just perfect for my legs. If I went a size up, I definitely would have seen extra material crumpling around the ankles. I had no gapping, no wrinkling and no other issues – it was just perfect!
The feel are SO SOFT and so beautiful on the legs. I had no worries about the material itching me, as they were super smooth. These were a dream to be in, and other people thought so to!
The Toes & Ankle: as I mentioned a little above, these come with reinforced toes and heels, to help the longevity of this pair. I appreciate that as the last thing I would want to do is wear these with footwear that would rub against the tights, or over time these start to wear away – so having this reinforcement helps greatly.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during the day either.
Around the feet and ankles, I didn’t experience any wrinkling to be honest. If I did, it was the natural wrinkling that would occur.
The Waistband & Gusset: as you can see below, these come with a slim waistband that holds this pair up with such ease. Once on, they stay put all day unless I choose to move them about. I had plenty of stretch in them, so there was no rolling down or shimmying. I thought the waistband was pretty good to be honest – I expected something thicker, but these did the job just fine.
Such a beautiful pair, and one I hands down loved! I loved the quality, I loved the look, I loved the feel and I loved how great these have been to me.
