Wolford Flower Fashion Tights

Talking sophistication today, and stepping into my favourite colours for it too. Side seams are great fun, especially when you have some great designs. This time I have a floral leafy design to work with, and I’m getting ready for work with this outfit.

My Outfit

What’s a great way of making a statement outfit? Just get all types of florals involved in it, and I did with my floral satin tunic paired with plain court shoes and cinched at the waist with a rope belt.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I had to do my scrunch and roll a little differently, as I had to scrunch to keep the floral side seam to the side of my leg as possible to make the rolling up a lot easier when getting them on.

I rolled them slowly up the legs, setting the seam in place, and then setting the waistband in place before beginning my day.

On The Legs: how fun is this floral side seam? I love the fact it works from the the toe all the way to the waistband – which means bring out those short shorts, or mini skirts because you’re gonna wanna show these off to the fullest. I couldn’t as I had work today, but I love how classy this seam is.

The quality does not let me down usually, and it didn’t today for sure. They have been a great pair to review and I have kept them looking pristine as possible!

The fit of these were true to size, and fit me very well. I normally wear X-Small or Small, depending on the style, and Small was just right for me with this pair. I will say check the sizing guide before purchasing to make sure you will have plenty of room. It won’t hurt to go one size up for the control top element.

The feel of these were so lovely and soft. I really enjoyed being in them, and they served me very well during the day. The best part is that my tunic was gliding across them rather than rubbing against. These also don’t irritate the legs in any way either.

The Toes & Ankle: sadly these are not reinforced, which is a shame but I get it as the floral seam starts from the toe seam here.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was added either. Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth finish with no wrinkles.

The Waistband & Gusset: I have to say this has been a great band. The band itself is pretty slim as you can see below, which I quite like. It sits around the belly button on me, with a straight seam down the middle. The band itself is comfortable to wear, and had enough stretch for it to sit well on my waist. It didn’t dig in or feel too loose.

One thing I do like is the band has a fine reinforcement underneath it, before it goes into a thinner denier.

This pair does have a cotton gusset, which is palm-sized and sits flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

I can happily recommend this pair to you all; I love the design, I love the quality (as always) and I know these won’t let you down!
