Wolford Florina Tights

The sun is out, which means I get to stop the layering and thick clothing for a short while. I got this pair from Bicester Village when I went on a mini shopping spree, and I didn’t want to keep them sitting aside for months.

These are very similar to the Wolford Marie Stay-Ups and Marie Tights I have done recently.

My Outfit

I have a simple, classy outfit for work today. I paired up my white tunic with a wide waist belt to give a little structure. I added plain court shoes to finish the look.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets when rolling up. I had plenty of stretch for these to simply roll on without any need to tug. I shimmied these around the waist and set them in place.

Straight forward with no fuss – just how I like it.

On The Legs: well aren’t these a gorgeous pair?! I mentioned above that these are just like the Marie style they have, but a little less fussy. I mean either way I love both styles, as they are right up my street and you can create some fantastic feminine looks. These work up from the toe seam all the way to the waistband so you get great pattern coverage to pair with short dresses, skirts or shorts.

The quality is always a great standard with Wolford. I had no issues in terms of snags, rips or any other damage or markings. They were a pristine pair, and stayed that way throughout the day.

The fit of these are true to size. There was plenty of stretch for my leg size and width, without the need to tug them up or pinch and pull into place. I will suggest going a size up if you feel you need a little more stretch in your hosiery or if you’re in-between sizing.

The feel of them are so soft, and I absolutely loved wearing my pair today. They don’t irritate the skin at all, and they are super smooth when you roll them up/down the legs. A true dream to be in!

The Toes & Ankle: the sad thing is these don’t come with reinforced toes. However you do have that gorgeous floral vine pattern starting right at the toe seam, so you can opt for peep toe or open toe shoes with these.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and there was no pressure added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s super smooth with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: so we have 2 amazing things happening right here –
1. The floral vine pattern works its way to the waistband, so you can wear anything short and not have to worry about the design cutting off.
2. You have reinforcement under the waistband. It is a slightly darker shade but not to obvious which I like. This has a great amount of thickness but still subtle enough.

The waistband itself is great. I never have any issues with it, and nothing this time round. It sits on the waist well, and doesn’t dig in. There is plenty of stretch in them to hug the waist during the day without feeling too loose/tight.

These have a cotton gusset to them, which sits flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

I absolutely love this pair! It reminds me so much of the Marie style they have, but a little less bold. These are perfect to wear all year round, creating some gorgeous feminine looks. I would happily recommend if you can get your hands on them!
