Wolford Fatal 80 Seamless Stay Ups

Not going to lie here, but getting back into blog writing is quite hard. I spent so long on my last blog trying to get it together, and this one is just as bad. I’ve never experienced such brain freeze hen it comes to blogging, as I’ve always found it natural to just type away…

Anyways here comes a pair that I found hard getting an outfit together, but got there in the end. I have done anthracite in a sheerer pair, however I did find it difficult doing it as an opaque pair.

I kept my outfit quite dark today, pairing my holdups with a floral dress and added black suede shoes to finish the look.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: oh these are a beauty I have to say. I didn’t use gloves this time as I am working with a thicker denier, and they are SO smooth! I did my scrunch and roll as usual, and rolled them up the legs. I didn’t feel the need to tug at these as there was plenty of material for great leg coverage.

On The Legs: yep so I decided to take as many pictures as possible because why not?! I love how smooth and sensual they look on the legs. I didn’t really know what to expect, but I have to say these are just like the Fatal dress I have a few of.

The colour is one I do like, but I would find it hard to pair with colours if I was to wear them in the future. It’s on that I would need to get used to wearing really. But it works well with this outfit, and the pairing is great for Autumn/Winter.

The fit of these were great; these were spot on for me, and I had enough stretch and material for even leg coverage too. I managed to sit them higher up the thigh, but this also meant that they did squeeze them a little. No biggie, but something to maybe watch out for.

The quality is incredible; as always Wolford never really let me down here. They have been great to me all day with no issues; no rungs, snags, rips or any other damage.

The feel of these are smooth, soft and so comfortable to be in all day. It’s just like the dress; it works so well and I could spend all day in them with no issues. The best part is that they are so comfortable and snug on the legs, and they don’t cause any irritation either.

The Toes & Ankle: now I am impressed with seams on this pair. This is the only place you will find any seam; it is done so well and so seamlessly, it makes me smile. It is quite thick. but not one that will irritate you when wearing footwear.

Around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room, and no pressure was added either.

I did find slight wrinkling around the ankles, however that does occur due to the thicker denier. When standing, this doesn’t appear as much as what you see below.

The Bands: and it just gets better as we move to the top! I love this silicone piece across the top of the bands. That one piece can hold up the whole thing with ease, and there is no movement from it all day; no slippages, no wiggling off etc.

There is stretch in this part as well, which hugs the thighs well too.

My Thoughts?

What a pair! I love how these look on, but I wish I had them in black instead of this colour as I would be able to style them more easily and get more use out of them. Apart from that, I do love the feel, I love the quality and I love how seamless they are under clothing.
