Virivee Gold Feet Mermaid Tights

I do love me some Virivee tights; they have some real unique pieces and this is one of them I am crushing over! They have these as the half leg and feet, or just half leg (I got the ones from the feet to the knees because why not?)

I kept my outfit simple today. I paired my white jumper with my leather shorts and I added some white pumps to keep it casual. You can always add heels or sandals to really show them off – I was having a chill day so opted for a casual look.

From The Website: Golden mermaid tights! The original from Europe, not the cheap and bad quality copy from China!

The glossy gold fish scale pattern definitely draws the eye to your legs! Invisible tights, you hardly can see them!

Choose the base color to your skin type: light-medium nude for average skin tones, tanned nude for tanned or little darker skin, and nuder for darker skin tones for Black women.

Superb quality invisible sheer tights with glossy gold scale pattern on the front side of the legs. The pattern starts on the feet and goes up to the thighs.
The material is 15 denier, super thin but really elastic thanks to its Lycra content. It is transparent, only the scales are visible.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: these were super easy to scrunch and fold, but I will say do take care when doing so as the scales are printed on. You don’t have to pry them away from each other (normally they can be stuck together due to way it’s printed on).

I took my time to get them over my anklets and up the legs before setting in place. I will say try to line up at the front as you go along – it saves you the hassle doing it later.

On The Legs: how amazeballs does this design look?! I love that mermaid look on the legs, and with the tan/nude base it works so well! This works from the reinforced toe to low thighs / just over the knees. I would say you won’t be able to wear these at the back however if you got the ones that just have the scaling on the legs (and not the feet), those can be worn in reverse to create different looks. I personally like how it looks at the front.
The printed scales are well done on the tights, so I don’t see them budging or falling off anytime soon. I did pick at few to test it out and they didn’t come away at all.

I really love how much of a statement they are!

The quality of this pair is amazing; I mentioned the scaling is printed on so well, and these don’t damage easily either. I have been in them all day, and not managed to get a single snag or rip in them. They have been super exposed as well – so I did wonder if anything would happen to them.

The fit is spot on, and I had enough stretch for my leg length and width too. I would make sure you check the sizing guide before purchasing just to be sure. The stretch was enough to give a really fitted look, with no gapping on the legs. I especially wanted that with this pair, to make it looks like a second skin!

The feel of them tights overall is great. The tights base is super smooth on the skin, and there is no irritation to the legs. I thought there might be with the printed scales but they were smooth at the back, so they were fine being against the skin. They glide up and down the legs easily, so you don’t need to tug at them much either.
The feel of the scales is really smooth; they don’t feel rough or cheaply done basically. You can tell they used a good quality machine to produce these!

I even took a picture to show you what the tights looked like at the end of the day – the scaling is still in place, it doesn’t shrink or expand. It is exactly the same as how I got them on.

The Toes & Ankle: as you can see, these have reinforced toes, which are slightly lighter than the legs but cover the toes fully. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to not feel cramped, and there was no pressure added to the toes or feet during the day.

Around the feet and ankles, there was no wrinkling at all, and a lovely smooth look with the scales too!

The Waistband & Gusset: and we have a great band too! This band has plenty of stretch in it to sit comfortably on the waist, without causing any issues. I didn’t find them rolling down, wrinkling, or shimmying down the waist at any point. They have been a great band to wear!

This also has reinforcement boxers to them that works from the band down to the top thigh.

These don’t come with a gusset in them; it is just a straight seam through the middle.

My Thoughts?

There is nothing bad I can say about these, and I will end it with – I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THESE!!!
