Bringing some bling ready for Christmas Day! I got these sent from Vienne Milano not too long ago, and as soon as I had set my eyes on them, I wad dying to review them! I do love me some lurex hosiery, especially this time of year when it’s dark and the lighting hits the legs just right!

These remind me of a similar pair they had a while back; Vienne Milano Gisella Holdups which I reviewed and loved. They were a simple pair but effective enough paired with a mini black dress and heels!

My Outfit

I decided to pull out another new dress for this occasion; my satin leopard print dress paired with some simple black heels. You can easily switch them to gold or silver sandals if you really want your outfit to pop, but I thought this worked out well enough for me.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I thought it would be easier to do a little video of me getting them on for you… I know hosiery gloves aren’t on, but when you wear hosiery as much as I do… you’re careful enough as it is!

On The Legs: well these are something pretty special I have to say! I am loving everything about this pair right now; the hearts, the lurex silver, the shine! This is a pair that is ready to be the life of the party, ALL YEAR ROUND!

The quality of this pair is amazeballs; I do love Vienne Milano as their quality never fails me. They always come so pristine, and such a pleasure to get on the legs. These don’t snag easily as long as you take care in them; I did manage to get a snag here and there as I was rushing around today getting bits sorted – luckily that’s all it was and nothing more!

The fit are great; I feel these are a size medium as I had plenty of stretch to sit them high up on the legs. I didn’t have to tug up the legs, and I didn’t have to stretch them out too much either. I would always recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing to ensure you’re getting the right size. There is normally no harm in going one size up if needed!

The feel of these are so smooth, and you would not think it by looking at them. Normally people assume these holdups will be itchy on the legs and just irritate them all day. Let me tell you; when they are made properly and by reputable companies, they are actually really smooth, soft and do not irritate the skin in any way. I can certainly say that about this pair – they were soft gliding up the legs and not once did I feel like my legs were itching. The lurex used is a lot softer and not harsh on the skin, making it a great pair to be able to strut your stuff in all day long.

The design I am crushing over; love hearts, silver lurex, shine, fine deniers… I am loving it! I love how they are totally different from other lurex pairs you get out there. I have tried and tested a good few in the past, and this is one that I have never come across before, and I absolutely love how they look! They have a lovely feminine quality to them, and I believe that these can be worn all year round.

The Toes & Ankle: so these come with an invisible reinforced toe to them, which I only noticed when I stretched the nylons away from the toes. I saw a slightly darker denier going across. It isn’t something you notice right away, however I am certainly not complaining here. I had plenty of stretch (as you can tell) with wiggle room for my toes. They didn’t feel cramped at all.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Bands: and the finishing touch is the bands with a lovely satin-like finish. I like how these don’t have an intricate pattern or any lace. It’s nice when it’s simple, letting the rest of the legs take the limelight. These bands hold up really well during the day, and do not lose tackiness either. I did test if it started to loosen after pulling them away over 10 times during the day; the answer is no. They still went on strong!

I do also like these bands as they do stretch out to fit your thigh well, so you’re not left with a muffin top. These also come with double silicone bands around the top, for a secure fit.

My Thoughts?

Yep I happily recommend this pair for sure! I love the way they look on the legs, and that sparkle is to die for! I would wear this with my work outfits any day of the week, but for those who wouldn’t dare – they can work for parties and functions! Thank you so much Vienne Milano!
