Victoria’s Secret ‘Lingerie For Legs’ Stockings

How happy am I right now!? I have my hands 1 of 2 pieces from the Victoria’s Secrets range. I’m sure these are pretty old and no longer available, but I have never really shopped there (I know right?!) and I am super happy that I get to try out their branded hosiery!

I know their lingerie game is amazeballs, which is why I wanna see how these turn out and then maybe do a cheeky shop!

The Review

The Packaging: I have to say I expected a little more fro their packaging; I thought it would be looking so luxe and sexy but this is quite simple in comparison. I’m not complaining but these didn’t really live up to this expectation I had of them.

Anyways, the front states the brand name, colour and the size of the stockings. You also have a small love heart window to see the colour. The back goes into a little more detail, with a large sizing guide.

When you get in, you will find these wrapped around card and neatly folded so you get the foot and leg shaping to them.

Getting Them On: I took my time to scrunch and roll them up the legs, taking care when going over the anklets. They were a lovely glide up the legs without having to tug them up.

On The Legs: well this is a very nice colour, and similar to other red pairs I have done in the past. These would look amazing with some base layers or some patterned pairs on top if you wanna get experimental.

The quality is pretty nice; I didn’t know what to expect here so I kept an open mind and I felt they were decent. I did take care in these, so I wouldn’t end up with any snags or rips but I feel they can easily occur if you’re not careful.

The fit of them are amazing. I had a size medium which I felt was great for the legs; I didn’t have to tug them up to sit them high, I had enough stretch in them so there would be no gapping and I don’t have an ombre finish either. There was a lot of plus points wearing this size, although I don’t know what their small would be like to be honest. I would recommend checking their sizing guide before purchasing for sure.

The feel of them are really soft and smooth on the legs. You have this lovely smooth finish to them, so it’s easy to glide your legs off one another. These don’t irritate the legs either let me just add 🙂

The Toes & Ankle: the sad thing is these do not have reinforced toes to them, which is a shame as these would have made them even better! I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was added either.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s a smooth fitted finish as you can see below.

The Bands: so one thing I love here is there is this subtle design in the welt of the stockings. I didn’t realise this until I looked at them up close. It sits just under the thicker strip at the top before it becomes the sheer leg. I thought that was a nice touch.

The welt on these are lovely; they open up to fit your thighs, although I did feel these were ever so slightly snug on mine. I felt now and again it would create a little muffin top. It’s no biggie as I am wearing a baggy skirt, but if it was a bodycon dress or skirt, I would need to check this in case I need to change my outfit last minute.

I got mine to sit quite high up the thigh, but this is optional of course. The bands will open up to your thigh size if you’re in them long enough.

My Thoughts?

I have to say they are not a bad pair overall; I expected a little more to be honest being such a huge brand in the lingerie world. Nevertheless, they are decent and the quality is there, which is the main thing. I would recommend for sure.
