Now this pair is a little special; not only are they hard to get hold of, but a great friend of mine in the USA got them for me and sent them to the UK so I could review them. They don’t really make VS hosiery anymore and the last few pars I did weren’t so great. This time I am so looking forward to seeing what they’re like!
If you missed my previous VS reviews, you can catch them below (opens in a new tab):

The Review
The Packaging
Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll up the legs to get these on, taking care going over my anklets. They were super easy to glide up the legs.

On The Legs: I have to say I do love the matte finish to them; they look super sophisticated when dressed up and work so well with open toe sandals. They also have a great slimming look to them, which I adore!
The quality of these are amazing; they are so much better than the previous VS pairs I have reviewed by miles! These can easily snag if you don’t take care when you’re in them, however I managed to keep mine from snagging. Thank goodness my dress was long enough!
These also have a nice amount of stretch in them too, as these are one size up from what I would normally get. I didn’t have to tug them up the legs; I could just roll them on gently and set in place without worrying about the gusset sitting flush against the skin. I would say there is no harm going one size up if you feel you need to; I felt these fit me amazingly well.
The feel of them are super soft and smooth on the legs; they have a lovely soft coating to them which gives it a cashmere-like finish. I really enjoyed being in them this evening. They don’t irritate the legs in any way and they hold up so well.
I forgot to say I wanted to show you all what they look day vs evening, so you can see how they shade slightly darker but still look amazing.
“Are these actual leg shapers?” – Well I will say I felt like they were. I saw that these did make my legs look slimmer, however I will say I didn’t actually feel it. These are supposed to be a light control. And let me add, if these were a size smaller they might have felt different as well, but as I went one size up I couldn’t feel the difference.

The Toes & Ankle: these sadly do not have reinforced toes (not even invisible ones which is a shame) however I could pair them up with sandals without the reinforcement strip peering through.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and they did not feel cramped at any point either. I did have to make sure that they didn’t stretch too much when I was walking just in case my nails ripped through them.
Around the feet and ankles, you can see a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkles around the ankles.

The Waistband & Gusset: this wasn’t shown, however these were completely sheer to the waistband, so you can pair up with short dresses, skirts and shorts.
These also came with a great waistband; it was so soft and super comfortable to wear. I had no issues with it falling down or rolling over itself so it created bumps under my dress. If you check back to my packaging section, you can catch a glimpse of the waistband there and see how stretchy and thick it is!
These also have a gusset, which sits flush against the skin. You can either go commando or wear underwear; whatever your mood is, this will accommodate you!
My Thoughts?
I am loving this pair, and I cannot wait to wear them again. I loved the quality of them, they fit me so well and I love that slimming effect they have! I will certainly be pairing them with something a little shorter so I can really show them off next time!

I was disappointed when Vicky’s stopped selling their own line of nylons. They were always a bit pricy compared to other brands that I might purchase in the mall but the quality always made you understand why.
