Victoria’s Secret Glamour Sheers Tights

It’s been a while since I have been in a white pair of hosiery, and this is another from Victoria’s Secret. I know a lot of you have been wondering when a white pair was going to make another appearance – here it is!

This pair was gifted a while back, and I have tried to look for this pair online but couldn’t find a purchase link – sorry!

The Review

The Packaging: like m previous pair, this comes in gold packaging However, we have the model showcasing the pair at the front this time so we get to see what they look like. It also states the brand name, size, colour and price at the top.

Flipping over, there is a bit about the brand and a sizing chart.

When you get in, you will find them wrapped around card and inserted into plastic packaging. They come with foot and leg shaping to them so you can determine the front and back.

Getting Them On: I did my little scrunch and roll up the legs and glided them on. These were fine to go over anklets as long as you take care.

On The Legs: I used a mix of flash and natural lighting to show the difference, and there I found there was a slight shine to them, which I quite liked. The white acts like a sheen on the legs I feel; you still have a lot of natural skin colour coming through and these just add a fine white layer on top.

The quality of these are not bad; you will find out more below so I won’t say too much here. I managed not to damage these even though there were a few close calls. These had enough stretch for my leg length too.

The fit of these are true to size, so I would recommend checking their sizing guide before purchasing. These were a great fit for my leg length and there was no gapping to be found behind the knees or around the ankles.

The feel of them were soft and smooth to touch on the legs. They glide right on and off, and do not irritate the legs once they are on.

The Toes & Ankle: are not reinforced on this pair, so I would make sure you make sure nails aren’t sharp or too long as they will rip through. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes and no pressure was added either.

If you want to wear open toe shoes or sandals, these would work perfectly with them.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s a smooth fitted finish with no wrinkles in sight.

The Waistband & Gusset: well this is the part where the quality fails for me. I found that there is no elastic in this waistband, to the point it can’t hold itself up at all. I was super disappointed as I felt it slipping down every 5 minutes under my skirt.

As you can see below, it sits just under my belly button, but it’s ridiculous how this easily falls. There was nothing I could do to actually make them sit up apart from making a knot at the back of them.

Th gusset is a small cotton-like patch in the middle which would sit flush against the skin if I didn’t have waistband issues.

My Thoughts?

Quite a nice pair I have to say, but the waistband really let me down. The quality overall is not too bad and neither is the colour on the legs. I would only recommend this pair if you know you’re gonna get a good waistband.
