Here we go with another vintage pair of stockings. I am looking forward to reviewing these, not only because we have a nude shade, but the sizing is not one I normally go for.
Unbranded nylon stockings may not come with a well-known name, but they often hold some of the most charming stories from the vintage hosiery era. Many smaller manufacturers in the mid-20th century produced beautiful nylons that rivalled the big brands in quality, offering women affordable yet elegant stockings with that classic sheer finish. These pieces were often sold through local shops, markets, or mail-order catalogues, making them a quiet but essential part of everyday fashion. Wearing an unbranded pair today feels like uncovering a little mystery – timeless, delicate, and wonderfully nostalgic.

My Outfit
I know it isn’t the weather for short sleeves, but I was dying to get this bodysuit out to wear. I paired up with my heart tulle skirt, a patent bow belt and added red heels to complete the look.

The Review
The Packaging
Getting Them On: my gloves on and we are rolling. I took my time to do my scrunch and roll, before sliding them up the thighs and setting them in place. These were a breeze to get on this morning.
I used a 8 clasp suspender belt with these today.

On The Legs: this nude shade is divine! I didn’t know what to expect, but honestly it doesn’t look like I’m wearing any stockings! It’s only until I flash my thigh that you notice the difference.
The quality of these – I absolutely love! They were such a pleasure to be in, and I had no issues with them. I do think the long skirt helped here…
The fit was pretty much spot on. I wasn’t too sure how they would be, but they sat well on the legs and around the feet. They were a little tight around the knee and thighs, but as my day went on, it did open up slightly.
The feel of them are smooth, and really soft against the skin. They do have a net/mesh feel, but it isn’t as prominent as my other pairs.

The Toes & Ankle: we have a faint toe and heel reinforcement with a seam running through them. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.
Around the feet at the back, there is the most tad bit of extra material, but it’s something that isn’t noticeable. Around the ankles, I had a smooth finish, with no wrinkling.

The Bands: so for a larger size, I didn’t expect them to be so fitted on my thighs. We have the welt along with the reinforcement sitting underneath. These were easily to clasp onto, and they held in place for the whole day with no issues.
I did find that the stitching in places was fraying a little; nothing major, but something to keep an eye on. A little hairspray would help here so it doesn’t end up undoing itself.

My Thoughts?
I mean these are amazing! I love how gorgeous they look on, the quality is awesome and I absolutely loved being in them!
