Yep another brand comes to the blog, where I managed to source a fake pair. I will say I do have a fair of actual Fendi tights that I need to review, however I am too scared to get them out. I want to keep them as pristine as possible because they cost so much!
Size: One Size
Materials: Nylon & Spandex
Price & Website: No Longer Available
I went dark glam today; I paired my cropped top with my faux leather shorts and added t-bar heels to finish the look.
Top: River Island
Getting Them On: I wish I took a picture when I was getting them on; they were SO LONG. With the toes touching the ground, these came up under my chest. I did wonder if these were going to be too big for me, but I went ahead and got them on to check it out. I did my scrunch and roll, and then rolled them up without tugging to see if I would need to or not – I didn’t. These did sit on my waist and no higher, so that was a bonus.
On The Legs: I’m starting off with the quality on this one. I’ve circled in the images where it’s obvious you can see defects in the tights. This is the only thing about cheap hosiery; and also another way you can tell it’s been made in China too. You get markings, weird fades, sewing defects and a lot more. You could really tell on this pair as it was so much more obvious compared to the Balenciaga pair I did.
The quality of these are not the greatest to be honest; I expected so much more considering these were more expensive than the Balenciaga pair I purchased. These looked huge, they have a lot of defects and I personally wasn’t happy in them. These also snag very easily; I managed to get it caught a few times in the most random places.
The fit of these are fine for my size, however I worry about larger sizing in these. I know for sure the design will be stretched out a lot more than it is on me, and I believe there isn’t a great amount of elasticity in these. I would say upto Large as the max.
The feel of them were not an issue. These were comfortable to wear on the legs without any irritation occurring, and I was able to wear them all day effortlessly. They do feel smooth on the inside and out.
The Toes & Ankle: these don’t come with reinforced toes to them. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was added during my wear either. I felt there was a fair bit of material gathering around my feet in these, as they slowly moved down a little during the day..
The Waistband & Gusset: the waistband comes with a thick reinforcement band underneath it. The waistband itself is decent; there is a good amount of elasticity to it and it hugs the waist well. I didn’t find it slipping down or rolling over itself during my wear.
I like that the design works right to the top so you can wear short clothing with this pair and not have to worry about a boxer brief showing through.
Is it worth it? To be honest, the defects were so noticeable, I wouldn’t recommend them to you. I did like it as it was very similar to a Fendi pair, but it was too noticeable that there was a lot wrong with them.
