Unbranded ‘CC’ Patterned Tights

Well we are bringing some class to the blog, and I have to say this is one of my favourite looks to date! I fancied doing a Chanel-themed look, and am hoping you think I have pulled this off.

This is a pair I bought off a private seller online, who only had limited pieces available at the time. I got them for £10.00 I believe, however they are no longer stocking the item.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: these were really nice to get on. I did my scrunch and roll up the legs, taking care going over my anklets. These had enough stretch so I didn’t have to tug them up the legs much.

On The Legs: I have to start off with the design on this pair – it is literally like a Chanel pair of tights. The logo is velvet, which makes it stand out on the base of the tights. I like the fact that these don’t look like a cheap pair at all; they don’t have off-cuts or any damage around the CC which makes me fall in love with these even more. I do wish the denier was a little thinner, so they look a lot sheerer than semi-opaque. It’s no biggie, but it would be nice.

The quality is actually really good; it surprised me as to how good they are. I liked the fact they don’t snag easily, and they were hard to damage too. I mean this is a great pair in my eyes! I didn’t even take special care in them either. The only issue I had was the material did have slight imperfections nearer the top; the colour changed from a semi opaque to a patchy section.

The fit of these are fine for me; these are a one size pair so these had plenty of stretch in them. I did manage to get even leg coverage with this pair, which is always a bonus. I will say anyone above large would struggle with these.

The feel of them are really smooth, and silky. They are super soft to touch, and feel like they have a shiny coating on them. I didn’t experience any irritation when I was in them the while day either. I think they’re brill!

The Toes & Ankle: are amazing! I have reinforced toes, which actually work with the design and base. These aren’t too light or dark so it works well with the overall look. And they have even toe coverage, which makes me happy.

Around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room and no pressure was added onto my toes either.

Around the feet and ankles, it is a smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: so this part is where I find it a little uncomfortable. I love the waistband on these, as they sit so well and have plenty of elasticity. The downside is that these come with a double seam at the back which feels uncomfortable to me. I don’t mind them but I prefer my tights to not have them.

This also has a front and back floral print, acting like underwear too.

My Thoughts?

I really like these, and I would put up with the double seams because they look fantastic! I really like the quality of them, and the fit was great too. I would happily recommend them!
