I know a lot of you will have seen this pair on my IG Stories a wile back; I was too eager to wear the before the review. I purchased these from eBay a while back, and I don’t know why I have waited so long to get these reviewed for you all.
This also means that after a few wears (all full days) you know I am not messing about in this blog for you all 🙂

The Review
From The Website:Â Add lots of glamour to any look with this pair of printed tights. In a sheer black, they feature an all-over city name design
The Packaging: as you can see below, the packaging is very basic. The tights come in a plain plastic packet, wrapped around plain card. These are flat packed, so there is no foot or leg shaping to them.
When I did get into them, I found the slogans stick to one another; which is pretty hard to prise away. It took me a while, but I managed to do all of them.
I also wanted to take an image of the front and back of the tights; you can see the double seams on the back, which means these are gonna feel so uncomfortable to wear. This is what you will find on larger sized hosiery (from L-XXL) – I am not a fan!
Getting Them On:
On The Legs: let me start off by saying this; I thought I had pulled away the print so it wouldn’t stick on the outside. Well I didn’t realise that it was the same on the inside as well; I had to sit there and slowly pull it apart before I could get them on! I was not impressed let me just say!
The quality of these are ok; they’re a very basic pair which I don’t see lasting a long time, even if you do look after them well. I did manage to snag them a little during my time wearing them, but luckily they were not that visible. I will say that after a few wears, the lettering does start to fade away so it won’t look as bold as it does to begin with. I have experienced that after wearing them a few times.
The fit is good; I had enough stretch in these to cover the legs without any gapping. As these are made to fit multiple sizes, you may find that it gathers around the top thigh a little more, purely because there is extra material. I tried to tuck mine under my shorts, but they managed to shimmy down the leg and set themselves in place.
The feel of them are smooth, with the lettering feeling like a rubber material. It is one that can stick to materials like leather, rubber, synthetic linings etc, so I would advise you to take note before purchasing.
I will say I do love the design of these; they are super funky, they look amazing and they can be dressed up or down.
The Toes & Ankle: the toes come reinforced with a darker denier, and I am glad that they are so there is extra protection. I had plenty of wiggle room and there was no pressure added onto the toes. You also have the slogan working just underneath the reinforcement all the way to the boxer brief.
Around the feet and ankles, it is a fitted smooth finish with no wrinkling.
The Waistband & Gusset: I have to say I don’t have many nice things to say about the waistband:
- it sits too high up – like inches past the belly button
- it rolls down itself pretty easily no matter how many times you try to sit it flush against the skin
- it is pretty uncomfortable to be in all day after wearing them multiple times
I will say that the floral design is quite nice; it acts like a built-in panty on the tights, but that’s about it from me.
There is a small gusset to these, which is surprising as I expected it to be a little bigger considering this is supposed to fit larger sizes.
My Thoughts?
Not a bad pair, but this is one that may not last as long. I do love the way it looks, however the quality could be so much better.
