UKKO Lolita Tights

I am excited about this blog as I am out and about visiting Bath! I went a few years ago for a wedding, and my drive down was so lovely I wanted to return again to really explore this city. So we came back, and I decided to explore and get a shoot in too! We explored the following areas:

• Bath Abbey
• Lunch: Pulteney Kitchen
• Victoria Art Gallery
• Royal Crescent

Now this pair I have already worn in black, which would have been posted on my social media platform few weeks back. These are identical, with a colour change.

And yes … I have scribbled/lined out my face in some images, so these photos can’t be used without permission elsewhere!

My Outfit

It was a little chilly so I did layer up slightly. I paired my cream jumper with a faux leather brown skirt and added simple flats – due to the amount of walking I knew I was going to do today! I added a black scarf and neutral jacket to finish off the look.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: these were super easy to get on. I did my usual scrunch and roll technique, and worked my way up the legs before setting in place. These are somewhat symmetrical on each leg, but I suppose it doesn’t matter too much if they do get a little wonky.

On The Legs: so here we have a mix of hotel lighting, out and about and museum lighting too. I wanted to see what they look like in different lighting conditions.

The quality of these are not bad at all. I do prefer these than the black pair, as you can’t see weird markings and different shades on the hosiery; the black pair does emphasise it a little more than usual. I didn’t end up with any snags, rips or further damage which is always a good thing!

I like that they fit really well on the legs, and there was plenty of stretch to them, so there was no fear of them falling down or moving around whilst I was out exploring. There was no gapping or sagging at any point either.

The feel of them are lovely and soft, and really nice to be in too. I had no issues with it irritating my skin during the day.

The pattern is an interesting one; some people have theories of what it says… I am honestly not too sure myself so if you do know, please feel free to comment! The writing is repeated over the legs as far as I am aware.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with large reinforced toes to them, which cover evenly and well. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe during the day, and no pressure was added during my wear.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth, fitted finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: these come with a T-band, which is the band itself reinforced underneath and around the seams. I like that these were not double seamed at the back!

The waistband itself is great; it holds up really well and it didn’t lose elasticity during the day either. I did give it a few tugs and pulls; and they withstood!

I also like that these have the design from the toe reinforcement right under the waistband, so you can opt for shorter clothing without having to worry about a boxer brief.

My Thoughts?

I think these were a great pair to be in for today’s travels! They looked great, they felt amazing, and the overall quality has been much better than my black promo pair.
