Trasparenze – here we come! I am super excited as I love me some super sheer hosiery. I know it isn’t the time of year, but I love mixing and matching – and layering of course! This pair was kindly gifted from my Amazon Wishlist a little while back.

The Review
From The Website: Beautifully smooth and ultra-sheer, with an impeccable matte leg appearance, just as you’d expect from these Italian masters of hosiery, but really, these Trasparenze Voile 8 Denier Sheer Hold Ups are all about the outrageously deep, decadently detailed lace tops. These perfect Summer stockings, placing only the lightest skim of fabric and colour against the legs, are completely sheer right through to the toe. The deep lace hold up tops are securely lined with stay-up silicone bands. Trasparenze Voile 8 Denier Sheer Hold Ups and their lace tops probably aren’t the go-to for a smooth outline in tight-fitting skirts, but for looser styles, they have the ultimate ‘wow’ factor.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: as these are really delicate and super sheer, I had to get the hosiery gloves out and get them on slowly to ensure I don’t damage them as I roll them up. I did my scrunch and roll, taking care over my anklets and rolled them up gently and set them in place. As these have thick welts to them, I sat them as high as I could so not a lot was exposed under the dress.
On The Legs: can I just say how amazing these look?! I love working with ultra sheer deniers, and this works so well with a deep lace band! These are great to wear on their own on warmer days, and perfect to layer with too!
The quality I am super impressed with (as always) as I managed not to snag these, and I was making sure to take extra care where I went so they wouldn’t snag. These are prone to getting damaged easily so do be mindful! These also have such a great feel to them, and these can easily last you a while as long as you take care.
The fit of these were perfect for my leg length and size. I had plenty of stretch in them to sit them higher up the legs without tugging too hard. I would recommend going one size up if you’re unsure or are in-between sizes. I felt they were perfect for me, and there was no gapping around the knees and ankles.
The feel of these were incredible. They are soft they are smooth and they have such a lovely finish to them. These also have a slight shine to them too, which is always a bonus.
The Toes & Ankle: unfortunately these do not have reinforced toes to them, but then again I don’t know many companies that do make them reinforced when the denier is lower than 10.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and there was no pressure added during my wear either. These would be perfect to wear with any open toe footwear!
Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish, with no wrinkling in sight.
The Bands: so these bands are pretty deep, which I love. But that also means that the silicone bands have to hold them up well during the day!
These had 2 silicone bands which sit at the top of the lace, which isn’t bad but I did feel it could have done with 1 more to ensure that these won’t budge. I did feel them move slightly during the day, but it wasn’t nothing to worry about. These also have a great amount of tackiness to them.
The lace band itself is beautiful; it is super feminine and it looks incredible. This is one that I wouldn’t wear with short skirts or dresses due to risk of exposure, but I think they would make a great piece under longer clothing as your little sensual secret.
I sat these as high as I could go, so not much of the band was sitting low. But you can always choose to sit it higher or lower.
My Thoughts?
They are such a beautiful pair, and I absolutely loved being in them. The quality is amazing ,the fit was perfect and they look fantastic. Thank you Trasparenze for being amazing!
