Now let’s bring something dark and wonderful to the blog today – yes I am back in another vintage style outfit and this time it can work for so many occasions!

I wanted to give it a glam and classy look rather than with my normal dresses or skirts, purely because I felt like it and wanted to boss my way through the day.

My Outfit

I paired up my rockabilly dress with my floral holdups and kept the heels simple with my ankle strap court shoes. You can easily change the heels to a colour pair to add a pop to the outfit if you like.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets before setting in place high thigh. I had plenty of stretch to sit them higher than what I’m supposed to.

These were super easy to get on, as I didn’t need to keep them symmetrical at any point, so it was just a straight roll up the legs.

On The Legs: I am LOVING this floral print. I did the Trasparenze Romance Tights before, and absolutely loved the pants off them! And these are just like them, except in the form of holdups. I love how bold yet feminine they are, and against an all black outfit – they stand out SO WELL!

The quality of this pair is amazing; this brand never really lets me down to be honest. They don’t snag or rip easily, which is great and they last me all day without any damage.

The fit of these are true to size, and I had plenty of stretch to prove it as well. I managed to sit these a lot higher up the thighs than what they recommend, and it didn’t compromise the style or how the bands hold up either. I would always say check the sizing guide before buying, just so you get the right size.

The feel of them are silky smooth, and have such a great glide finish to them Not only was my dress brushing past them, but my legs would glide from time to time when crossed. They are super smooth, and don’t irritate the skin either. I loved being in my pair all day.

Let me just add that these do have a little lustre shine to them; I forgot to take images with the flash on but you can tell slightly in some of them below on the sides where the light bounces off. It isn’t one that will blind you, but one that will glimmer so nicely.

The Toes & Ankle: these beauties come with reinforced toes to them which you can see below. I had plenty of wiggle room in them, ad no pressure was added during the day either.

I do like that the foot design starts at the side and works its way up. That was such a cute thing to do, and it works so well making it look like it won’t have reinforce toes when it actually does (normally the pattern starts under the reinforcement).

Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkles.

The Bands: against this lovely floral pattern, we have a lovely satin band to finish it off. I am glad they went for satin rather than a floral lace band; I feel like it would have been too much against it whereas this breaks it up nicely.

I love the bands; they sit up well all day and I did my little tack test too – it passed. It didn’t lose its tackiness after prying it away from the skin a few times.

These also stretch out very well, so you’re not left with skin hanging off the top of the bands. I liked how they fit my thigh really well, giving it a seamless smooth finish.
