I was super intrigued to try out this pair, and I have to thank the amazing person who gifted these off my Amazon Wishlist! I love me a pair of Trasparenze, and I cannot wait to style these with Christmas-like outfits.

Getting into the Christmas spirit here, I paired up my cold shoulder top tucked into my white pencil wrap skirt. I added some wine coloured court shoes to finish off the look.

The Review

From The Website: Transform any outfit into a glamourous style statement in this lovely pair of sheer Trasparenze Geranium Sparkle Dot Tights. The soft, tulle weave 20 denier leg is liberally sprinkled with dozens of small dots in warm rose gold and sparkling starlight silver. The metallic dots twinkle, catching the light in every direction, flattering your legs, but with the smaller size and subtle shades, never overtaking the rest of your outfit. These Italian-made tights are sheer to the waist, with a breathable sewn-in gusset and flat, comfort waistband. A sheer toe ensures that you can wear the tights with all styles of shoe.

The Packaging: I forgot to do a video for this, and I have already had my way with the packaging so there isn’t much left of it to show you. It’s the standard Trasparenze packaging, and these came folded really well around card inside.

Getting Them On: can you tell already that I love this pair?!

I did my usual scrunch and roll up the legs, and tugged them slightly to make sure it covered all my legs and sits on the waist where it’s supposed to. These were a smooth roll up, and no issues with anklets either.

On The Legs: okay I don’t know where to begin because I am so in love with this pair! I like that these are on a netted base; basically like micronets but way smaller so you don’t feel the netting. It helps to slim the leg, and the added polka dots just enhances them. I love the whole overall look, and one that you can style in various ways.

The quality of this pair is spot on (as always) – they can easily snag and rip if you’re not careful, but I made sure to take care when wearing my pair and I ended up not damaging them at all! But yes, future note – these are super delicate and as the base is net, I would advise being as careful as possible so you don’t end up snagging these.

The fit of these are true to size, and I had just enough stretch to cover my legs evenly. I would recommending going a size up if you are in-between sizing or just want a little more material rather than having to tug and pinch to make them fit. These also meant no gapping around the legs either, and the ankles for that matter.

The feel of them will surprise you if you’re not used to wearing this type of material. They are super soft and really lovely on the legs. I can’t say these irritate as you actually don’t feel the against the skin – pretty much like normal hosiery. I really liked being in them the whole day, and these would make a brilliant pair to layer with!

The Toes & Ankle: now the sad part is that these don’t have reinforced toes to them, however this also means you can pair them with any footwear you like without having to worry about the reinforcement strip going across the toes. And yes I am donning some bubblegum pink nail varnish with this pair as it has been a while!

Around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room, and no pressure was added around the toes.

Around the feet and ankles, you can see a smooth, fitted finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: I don’t really need to say much for the below, but I have a great waistband around my waist today. These have a lovely slim band, with a good thick reinforcement underneath it. It then becomes lovely and netted, so you get to wear shorter clothing with ease, rather than a reinforced boxer brief peering out.

The waistband itself is really soft, and hugs the waist well. I had no issues with it rolling over itself or rolling down during my wear – happy panda!

These do come with a cotton gusset to them, which sits flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

I happily recommend! I love this pair, and they suit this season so well. It’s playful, the quality is great and I love the net base to help slim the legs!
