Trasparenze Buttercup Hold Ups

Happy Fishnet Friyay beauties! I decided to glam up, getting in to the festive spirit with this pair. I didn’t know how else to put them with a normal dress, so out comes the blazer dress and heels to jazz them up!

This pair was gifted via my Amazon Wishlist, and all details can be found below.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I did scrunch and roll this pair up the legs, just so I don’t get caught up in them getting them on. They were a smooth glide up the legs, before setting them in place. I did sit them higher as I didn’t want the welt exposed.

These are also fine going over anklets too – I had no issues with them today during my wear.

On The Legs: I am loving this black and gold lurex look! This is such a twist on the classic fishnet, and perfect for this time of year with all the parties and get togethers. The sparkle element is subtle, yet quite effective depending on the lighting. I did find these do shine when a flash is catching them, but a lovely subtle look in this lighting as shown below.

The quality is lovely – I do really like Trasparenze, ad this pair is one of my favourites at the moment! These are super hard to catch and rip, as I did a finger test, which you can see below where I stretched it away from my skin and it really was tough to rip.

The fit was spot on; I like that I had enough stretch in these so I can sit them where I like on the legs. These are also perfct if you are one of those who are in-between sizing too!

The feel I have to admit is a little scratchy on the legs; this is down to the gold lurex as I’ve worn it before and had the same issue. The actual pair is quite soft, but the lurex is what makes it pretty itchy. It would be best to wear these with a thin denier pair underneath to prevent it, but for reviewing purposes I just had these on.

The Toes & Ankle: now these are some reinforced toes, and once again with the gold lurex going through it too which I love. Yes it’s itchy but it’s worth it when they look this good!

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Bands: a lot of brand do this now; they do double silicone as a standard instead of 1. I like this as it helps to keep them up with ease all day and night – even if you are taking them on and off during the day too.

And another thing I like is that simple satin finish welt – it doesn’t take away from the rest of the legs which is really nice.

These have enough elasticity in them to sit wherever you like on the thighs too – I like to sit mine higher than normal, and this totally accommodated that.

My Thoughts?

A favourite for sure, and one that I would recommend if you like fishnets!
