The Review

From The Website: Elegant design features along the full leg of the thigh that includes a Skin effect at the top of the thigh.

20/50 Denier

Color: Black/Nude/Gray

Size: S/M to L/XL

The Packaging: like all of the Studio Collants Ballerina collection, the packaging always stays the same. The sly little thing they do (which totally works) is that they switch the card which shows the model wearing the hosiery – innovative!

When you get in, you will find these wrapped around card, smelling super gorgeous! They have this light fragrance to them, which is very similar to Trasparenze.

Getting Them On: okay so let me tell you the amount of hassle I had this morning getting these on. I firstly did it so the backseam is at the back (obviously) but as I was doing my scrunch, it started to twist itself so the seam sat at the front. I gotta tell you how much it annoyed me, as I was running late or work and my tights were being super frustrating! It happened with both legs!

I finally got them to sit straight at the back and then realised the pointed thigh piece at the front was super lopsided; they were both facing different directions. This is I had to fiddle with to make sure they sit straight!

On The Legs: after all that morning drama, I have to say they are looking divine! The denier being thicker lower leg working into a nude sheer gives that illusion of thigh high socks in a sense. Everyone at work certainly loved them!

The quality of them are amazing too; they have lasted so well throughout the day without having any snags or rips. And there is also plenty of stretch to them if you require it.

The fit of them are true to size, so I am pleased about that and the feel of them are super soft on the legs. Be mindful these are the type of catch dust and fluff quickly as well, as I spent most of my day dusting my legs off so they stay nice and black.

The design is simply stunning; I saw these on a model before and I was on a hunt to get them for ages. It’s unique and it can work well for most seasons!

The Toes & Ankle: the denier is slightly thicker, so do expect some wrinkles around the ankles.

Around the toes I had little bits of material poking out at the sides, but this wasn’t an issue when I was in them the whole day in shoes, as it moulded to my feet. There is also plenty of wiggle room as well 🙂

The Waistband: is a real nice one. They sit really well on the waist and don’t move any lower during the day. They are super soft and huggable; not being too tight or too loose.

One thing I love is that these have a cute little faux panty part to them, so if you are going underwear-less, then this will be your secret little key piece.

My Thoughts?

Overall I think these are super amazeballs! I love the design, the quality and their overall look!

  2. Soni your legs look magnificent in these tights. Great review I know backseams can be a pain getting them straight at least these seams didn’t run all the way up made it easier. I know I have a pair of CDR Chic glossy backseams and have a terrible time getting them straight but getting better at it hope I find a better way to get them straight. Now back to your review I absolutely love the design of these thinking I need a pair for myself.
