Day 13 of my holdups of the day series brings us a delicate, lightweight pair from Sofsy, also straight from my Amazon Wishlist.

While Sofsy might not be a household name like some heritage hosiery houses, this brand, like many Amazon‑sourced labels, often surprises with pieces that blend classic styling and everyday wearability. Fans of Sofsy hosiery note that many of their thigh highs are made in Italy, tapping into that country’s long tradition of fine legwear craftsmanship, which speaks to a focus on fit and finish even in accessible styles.

This pair sits in that lovely sweet spot between everyday staples and something a little bit dressier, so they’re ideal whether you’re layering them under a favourite skirt or just want sheer coverage with a touch of detail.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: hosiery gloves on and we are good to go! A little scrunch and roll up, and they were on the legs in a breeze. I didn’t have any issues this morning getting these on.

On The Legs: so I have been toying with greys for a while now, and getting used to them a little more. There is something about them that really intrigues me, so let’s bring that to the blog!

The quality of these are really nice once again; Sofsy is one I know I can rely on. I didn’t end up getting any snags in these beauties, which I am super pleased with – and no other damage either!

The fit of these are true to size, and I had enough stretch in these to achieve a lovely leg coverage too.
If you are in-between sizes, I would advise going a size up just you have a little extra material to play with.

The feel of these are really silky soft on the legs, and lovely to touch. They are super comfortable to be in – I had no issues whatsoever with them.

The Toes & Ankle: I believe these come with reinforced toes. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth finish with a no wrinkling around the ankles.

The Bands: they have a lovely floral design to them, which is quite nice. They are a deeper grey compared to the rest of the leg, but I absolutely love it.

I had plenty of stretch in these bands too, and they held up so well during my wear today. I had no issues with the tackiness.

My Thoughts?

Definitely give these a go if you like greys! I think they are amazing in every way – and they have served me so well!
