I am back reviewing a pair of Silky, considering I have stayed away from this brand so for long, purely because I do not like their quality and how cheap they feel. However, I am hoping this pair will change my mind. Now Amazon did me a little dirty here, as they branded this pair as MyTopTrendz instead of Silky, which I thought was a little devious.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: these were a breeze to get on this morning! I did my scrunch and roll, shimmied them up and off we go! As they are a plain pair, I didn’t have to worry about symmetry here; it’s just a scrunch, roll up and go.
These were fine going over my anklets too.
On The Legs: so the nude works really well with my skin tone. I was worried that it might end up being too light, but they worked really well. They also have a great shine to them, which I tried to capture with and without flash so you can see what you’re working with during the day.
The quality is lovely; I thought I would be left disappointed but they were really nice. I did manage to catch them on my keys, luckily it blends well so you can’t really tell where it’s been snagged. Apart from that, I have had no other issues.
The fit is spot on for my legs and size, and I had no issues with it being too snug or gapping around the knees. I had enough stretch in these so they don’t keep tight on my legs. I would advise going a size up if needs be.
The feel of them are super soft and lovely to touch too. I had no irritation during my wear, and they have been silky soft ever since I got them on.
The Toes & Ankle: these do have reinforced toes to them, which are not visible (which I love). I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.
Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth, wrinkle-free finish.
The Waistband & Gusset: so I have a boxer brief style gusset to work with here, that sits high up my thigh and works its way to the waistband.
I have a slim band, which does hold up well, but has a tendency to turn over itself from time to time too. I did find that it does dig in quite a bit, especially as the day went on.
These don’t have a gusset to them; just a seam that runs right through. I would recommend wearing underwear with this pair.
My Thoughts?
I honestly thought this was going to be a bad review, but I am impressed Silky! I love that shine, the quality was pretty decent and the sizing was great. I do like these as a spare pair to have in your bag, but it’s not something I would rave about as there are so many elements you could easily upgrade on!
