Sentelegri Microfiber Opaque Tights

We are brightening up Monday right here! I love being in colour at the moment, considering a lot of people are in neutrals and darker tones. These remind me of my Chartreuse Cuddler Tights, which I love at the moment, so I am happy to give these a go in a lower denier.

My Outfit

I need to get myself a cream blouse! I went with a white bodysuit, paired with my multi-coloured floral skirt and I added white heels to finish the look. I feel cream would have been a lot better than white here, but never mind.

The Packaging

I forgot to take a video of the packaging before I went in for the review!

Getting Them On: these were super easy to get on this morning. I did my scrunch and roll (as usual) and rolled them up the legs, before setting them in place.

These were fine going over anklets as well.

On The Legs: This colour is so vibrant! I love a good popping yellow, but I have to say it did shade differently during the day. Taking test shot pictures in different lighting during the day didn’t make it seem completely yellow at times. I should have included them in here for the contrast (I deleted them and didn’t think anything of it until writing this blog!)

Even though these are 100 denier, you still get some sheerness popping through at times. It isn’t as solid as you might think, which I am not complaining about, but if you wanted that thick, opaque look, these might not be the ones for you. I still felt there was some transparency at times, especially if these are stretching out a little more.

The quality of these are good for what you pay for. These I deem as basic, because they don’t feel that great, they are cheaply made and you can tell. They don’t snag or rip easily, which is a good sign for a thicker pair.

The fit of these are true to size, and I felt I had enough stretch in them. I would definitely go a size up if I wanted to achieve more of an opaque colour block look on the legs.

The feel of them as I mentioned before, they aren’t the greatest. They work well for a cheap pair, but not something I would keep as part of my collection long term, purely because I don’t see them lasting as well. They are a little grainy to touch, but you soon get used to that once you start moving in them.

The Toes & Ankle: so these are supposed to be invisible reinforced toes – where is the invisible element? These are super noticeable, and I had to be sure to tuck them as best as I could in my shoes before I walked out of the house this morning. I do like that there is reinforcement, which is reassuring, but I don’t appreciate such a thick line going across the toes either.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my feet to breathe and move, and no pressure was added during my wear.

I had a smooth, wrinkle free finish around the feet and ankles. The only wrinkling that had occurred was when I kept my tights bunched and they left those lines that ran across my feet.

The Waistband & Gusset: so there is an ‘invisible’ boxer brief part going on at the top of the thighs, before it finishes at the waistband. I don’t mind this to be honest, as it sat quite high on me, so it wouldn’t have been on show if I was wearing something shorter.

The band itself sits well on the waist, has plenty of stretch to it, and it doesn’t shimmy or roll down on itself either.

These come with a cotton gusset, which sit flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

For a cheap and cheerful pair, these are not bad at all! I like that they fit well, they are super vibrant for what you get and they do the job!
