Getting in the mood for Valentine’s Day, and I decided to dress up a little to work! I wanted to create a sensual outfit that can work for the office – and anywhere else you wish to be! I know some people might be thinking this is so extra – but I LOVE IT!

My Outfit

Feeling Spanish here to be honest. I didn’t realise it until I looked in the mirror. I paired up my satin cami top with my satin wrap floral skirt and I added some simple ankle strap court shoes to finish the look. You could always add black knee high boots or ankle boots, or maybe switch to sandals for a night out look.

The Review

From The Website: We redesigned our world famous Reinforced Heel & Toe (RHT) stockings and looked to Mother Nature for our lovely Spring Color – Pink. Our 15 denier 100% nylon stockings have more nostalgic detail with our world famous welt imprint, true manufactured heel and toe reinforcements and a plain after welt. Should you have difficulty in choosing from fifteen different colors why not simply take one of each !

The Packaging

Getting Them On: as always with delicate hosiery, I always take my time to get them on. This time I did it without the use of hosiery gloves (I know I should have them on)! I took my time to set the on the feet, going around the anklets and then up the legs.

On The Legs: I adore this colour! I loved it the moment I saw them come out the packaging, and I was dead excited to get them on this morning. It is a subtle tan shade on the legs, which I think works well with my skin colour. If you are a lighter skin shade, you may find this quite a deep colour. I absolutely love it and it works so well with my outfit!

The denier is super fine, as you well know with vintage stockings. I love how it looks pretty much invisible on my legs – it’s the subtle wrinkles that shows its there. The contrasting welt and RHT really helps to set it off in my eyes. I think these are perfect!

The quality is amazing; they can snag super easy, however I didn’t get any after wearing my pair today and I am super pleased! They feel luxe on the legs, and if you have a pair, you’ll know what I mean!

The fit was perfect for me; I normally would go for medium for extra wrinkles around the knees and for them to sit higher up the thighs, however the small did me good today. I had this flush fitted finish on the legs all day, until I bent them whilst sitting down. You couldn’t tell at all I was wearing any! There is no stretch in these pairs, so please do make sure you check the sizing guide and do go one size up if you need to!

The feel of them were gorgeous; soft, smooth, sensual, glossy. Basically this summed up.

Now I did a little video and some images to show you HOW GLOSSY this pair is?! I mean I was loving them enough already, and then I pop on flash and this happened! I love how amazing that shine is!

The Toes & Ankle: as I mentioned in the title, these have RHTs (reinforced toe and heel) to them, in a darker denier to give this beautiful contrast. These fit the feet well without adding any pressure to them. I also had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move.

Around the feet and ankles, I didn’t have any wrinkles until the end of the day, otherwise it was a smooth finish all day long!

The Bands: I am working with great welts here! I have this lovely contrasting welt with the company’s logo on the right hand side, with a good sized reinforcement sitting underneath.

These fit really well, as they stretch out to fit your thighs so you’re not squished in them. They are super soft, and really smooth against the skin. They are also great with metal clasps to hold them in place. I normally use (and prefer) metal clasps over plastic if I am wearing stockings all day.

My Thoughts?

I think this pair is gorgeous, and I really love the way they look against my skin tone. The quality is amazing, the fit is just perfect and THAT SHINE IS JUST STUNNING! Another one for the recommendation list!
