The Packaging

Getting Them On: my first impressions of these are they are so silky and slippy, and I cannot wait to get them on. I did my scrunch and roll, and slid these right up without any issues. The only issue I did encounter was how constricted my thighs felt, but I’ll get into that a little futher down.

On The Legs: there is a lot to speak about regarding this pair, but let me start off with the shine. I like how these have a lovely sheer shine to them in the natural light. It’s only subtle, but I really like it. Plus my legs are sliding off one another in these, and it was certainly hard to sit in the chair and pose when all my legs wanted to do was slide right off it! I did a comparison so you can see natural light vs flash, and how much of a difference it makes.

The quality of this pair sadly can be so much better. From afar, they look great and pretty much pristine. But up close, these easily snag, they catch onto things with no hesitation and there are markings all over it. I found more markings to be around my feet and some parts of my lower legs than anywhere else. I was pretty disappointed in them.

The fit did work for my lower legs, but not my thighs at all. These are a pair for thinner legs for sure, as my thighs were practically bulging out of the tops – and it was not a pretty sight! These have a lot of elasticity in them where its the sheer leg part, but not when it comes to the elasticated hold up part.

The feel of the holdups are lovely and soft, and really silky smooth to touch. They didn’t irritate my legs either, which is always a bonus.

The Toes & Ankle: these don’t come with reinforced toes, as you can see in the images below, so the nails were smoothed out before I got these on this morning. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move and breathe.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s a smooth fitted finish, with no wrinkling.

If you can see below, the nylon doesn’t look as smooth or sheer from the ankle to the toes, when you compare to the images you have seen a little up top.

The Bands: okay now to throw some shade around… This silicone band is a brilliant concept, but honestly made me feel really sh*t about myself. I know I have pretty chunky thighs, but this band really did show that and I was not comfortable showing images that portrays that – it really gave me a knock. The band is nicely elasticated, but it squeezes the life out of your thighs. If you had slimmer thighs, I don’t think this would much of an issue for you, but honestly it really was for me.

Even the top of the band where it’s reinforced with the nylons, that part started to become quite tight as soon as I rolled them on, and have not loosened during my wear either.

My Thoughts?

I love the concept behind this pair, but I really would not wear them again unless I felt like taking a hit to my self-esteem and confidence. I liked that they were super shiny, but the quality did lack for me.
