I am back in Rose Sakura, in (hopefully) a better pair than my last review. I wanted to create a fun look for work today, so I went with all red and white and made myself a statement piece!
Size: One Size
I mean how cute is this look?! I didn’t think it would work as well as it does – I went with my polka dot dress paired with white patent court shoes to finish the look. If I had white wedges, I most certainly would have worn these instead!
Dress: Gifted via Amazon
Tights: Rose Sakura
From The Website: 😘 Wearing effect: The control top pantyhose is very in line with the favorite of Europeans, and the ultra-thin and smooth texture is pursued by thousands of women.
😘 Control the top: Smooth pantyhose’s top is relatively wide, which can prevent sliding and anti-hook.
Hand Wash Only
😘 Recommended body size: Microfiber tights is only available in one size , recommended for women with a height of 150-170cm and a weight not exceeding 143 Lbs.
😘 Conventional seamless：The sheer tights has a great butt-lifting effect, seamless style, suitable for most women.
😘 What’s the use: Seamless silk stockings, ready to give gifts on Mother’s Day/Valentine’s Day/Christmas/Birthday/Thanksgiving Day and all entertainment.
Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll up the legs, and rolled these up. I did have to tug and pull in a few places as these got a little tighter once I was past the knees.
These were fine going over my anklets too.
On The Legs: well this colour is something!! I love how deep and bold they are, which makes them look quite expensive. I do love how it also gives me even colour coverage; so it isn’t sheerer when it’s stretched out in certain places.
I also did a comparison; natural vs flash on the tights too, so you get to see that oily lustre shine they have to them.
The quality of these are not bad; they are much better than what I was expecting. However, I did encounter a few blips where there were patches that were shading lighter and a few white markings. Apart from that, I did like how they sat on the legs, and there was no other damage after wearing them for the day.
The fit of these are a little tight I have to say; they were fine on my calves, but past the knee I really had to tug them so I had enough leg coverage on the thighs and also for it to sit well around the waist. I don’t recommend these for those who wear larger sizes, as you will struggle to get these on without ripping them. They have a lot of elasticity in them, but it didn’t help as much as I thought it would.
The feel are SO SILKY smooth!! I loved that glide up at the beginning, and during the day too. They are really smooth inside and out, so these don’t irritate the legs either. I was super comfortable in them!
The Toes & Ankle: these come with no reinforced toes, so make sure those nails are kept short and smooth before getting these on. There was plenty of elasticity in this pair, so my toes had plenty of wiggle room and no pressure was added.
Around the feet and ankles, it’s a smooth finish with no wrinkling.
The Waistband & Gusset: now the band! Not only do I have a good thick seam, I have a really good smooth waistband – which ROLLS down like there is no tomorrow! I was so happy to get these on, and during the day I noticed (and felt!) these roll down and start to dig into my waist. These did let me down in the end, as not only have I got a bad waistband, I also have the pleasure to experience these slowly slip down my legs too. I could feel the gusset area slowly moving away from my skin, and I had to keep pulling these up.
It was way too much hassle than I wanted to be honest!
I did like that the waistband was stretchy and roomy, but this all gets lost when it starts to crumple down.
The colour and the shine on these are fantastic if you like bright pops! But the fit and waistband really let me down on this pair. I was hoping they would sit a lot better on me, but unfortunately the tights had other ideas!
