Bring on some shine, especially when we are dealing with dull days at the moment. These were gifted off my Amazon Wishlist a little while back, and I felt this was the right time to bring them out for a review!
Now I haven’t heard of this brand before, and as they are mainly on Amazon, I can’t find their ‘about’ information.

A little contrast never hurt nobody! I paired up my tweed dress with white patent heels. I added a black jacket on top (of course) to finish the look off for an office day.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: so these were interesting. These don’t have much stretch to them so I couldn’t get my scrunch and roll as best as I wanted to. I did manage to get them on with a little tugging here and there.
I did have to be careful around my anklets, just to make sure it doesn’t get caught when pulling them up. I did take my time, which ended up taking me 10 minutes to do (instead of the usual 2).

On The Legs: okay so I’ll start off with the shine – because I love it. The pictures don’t do it justice, so I recommend checking out the video I posted earlier on my social media for the full effect. It is one that needs some light shining down on it to just blind you. I absolutely love it, and I can say the shine is beautiful!
Okay so let me say that 8D should never be stated as semi-opaque. They should be ultra-sheer, and this shows me that these are around 30 denier and above really. So a correction is needed there!
The quality is questionable to be honest. These are a little pricey (for some, not for all) and if you’re paying over £10 for a pair of hosiery, you would expect it to be decent right? Well I didn’t think so on this pair; I felt it really let me down. I had a lot of weird markings across the legs. I found them in random spots and they did not go no matter how much I tried to rub them away. It looks like spotting; lighter spots dotted around a dark denier – and it does not look good.
Regarding snags, luckily I didn’t end up with any due to the amount of elasticity in them in comparison to the nylon that makes it hard to catch and snag. If you get one, I can see these going from something super small to a huge run later down the line.
The fit of these are a little off, but I can’t really complain as I know these wouldn’t fit larger sizes (unfortunately). This is one I am super wary of as their sizing isn’t the greatest either. I do know they come with a lot of material, which makes it hard to get even coverage on the legs from to to waist. These also wrinkled behind the knees a lot, even when fully stretched out on the legs. I mean… I just can’t win here.
The feel of them are amazing though. I loved being in them, and they were super soft on the legs. I didn’t feel any irritation which is a good sign too. They are a lovely feel – to the point your legs slide off one another.

The Toes & Ankle: okay so this is where I needed to explain how annoyed I was during the day wearing these. I started off with the toe seam just sitting under my toenails (I like them there so they stay out the way during the day and are kept pretty invisible) and they ended up way further down my foot.
I have no idea why it does this (well maybe I do; my theory is because they are so soft and silky in my shoes they end up rubbing their way down) but it is super annoying and it was so irritating at the bottom of my foot. I had to keep stopping to re-adjust every so often.
These don’t come with reinforced toes either, which means you will need to keep those toenails in check. I had to be super careful to make sure I didn’t end up making a hole in these considering they were moving around a lot whilst I was walking.
Around the feet and ankles, these have a smooth fitted finish with minimal wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: and another problem occurs. These are supposed to be seamless and high waisted. It’s not seamless as you can see the seam in the middle on the image below, and the high waisted-ness basically rolls down on itself to sit around the waist like a hot mess.
It is lovely and soft to begin with, until it rolls down and starts to dig into your waist. Then it doesn’t feel so great…
The plus side is that these have a small reinforced part just under the waistband – not too sure why that would be needed as it’s thick enough not to snag or rip, but who knows.

My Thoughts?
To be honest, as great as they look I wouldn’t recommend them. I found them to be too much hassle, and they came with defects. I like the shine a lot, but you can’t class these a 8 denier, ad there are too many issues for my liking.
