Friday vibes got me feeling all colourful! I wanted to create something a little different; something with colour but also summery, and this is what I came up with. It took me a while to match up heels, but I gave up and went for statements all over today. It may clash a little, but to be honest I didn’t care much!
Anyways this pair I managed to get my hands on a while back, and you’ll be happy to know you can get them in a variety of colours!
Materials: 88% polyamide, 12% elastane
I feel like I should be working somewhere exotic lol! I paired my multi-coloured crop top with my white wrap skirt and added some statement floral striped heels. I know some of you will see this as a no go, but I did it anyways!
Crop Top: Miso
Skirt: River Island
From The Website: Silky, soft tights with a sensuous high cut bikini brief top. Flat seam, cotton gusset and sheer toe for elegance. Chic look without compromising on comfort.
The Packaging: now this is the Romartex packaging I know of. This is how most of their hosiery comes, but I suppose it depends on the model and the range in that brand too. The front shows the model wearing them in black along with the denier, brand name and model. The back goes into a little more detail about the pair along with the sizing guide, composition and hosiery care.
When you get in, you will find the tights folded neatly around plain card, and flat folded so there is no foot or leg shaping to them.
Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll up the feet and slowly pulled them up the legs. I took care going over my anklets as per usual 🙂 They were such a smooth glide on.
On The Legs: I am crushing over this colour. Who knew purple could look so good!!!! I wasn’t too sure how they would turn out when I bought them, but I am loving it for sure! I like that these are sheer as well, which means it will work well in Spring/Summer to pair up with other colours to create such a explosive look.
The quality of these are pretty nice; I don’t know why I sock myself every time. I do like this brand’s quality; it’s affordable, it doesn’t rip or snag easily and they have enough stretch in them as well for your leg length.
The fit of these are true to size, and as I mentioned before, they have a lovely amount of stretch to them so you don’t end up with an ombre effect on the legs. I would recommend checking the sizing guide before buying, but I can say these are true to size and fit really well.
Oh I forgot to say that I did a mix of flash and natural lighting – I love that sheen they have to them!
The feel of these are lovely; they are soft, they are silky and they glide on the legs which is a bonus for me. They don’t irritate the skin at all, and they are so comfortable to wear all day. They are a joy to be in!
The Toes & Ankle: these come with slight reinforced toes, which you can just make out if you look up close. I am super glad as thinner deniers so need them, and it’s even better when its pretty much invisible so you can wear open toe footwear!
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes and there was no pressure added either. Luckily my nails aren’t too long so I didn’t have to worry about any rips occurring.
Around the feet and ankles, these are a smooth fitted finish.
The Waistband & Gusset: I gotta say I quite like it when you go awesome designs around this part. I mean it’s not like I actually show it off, but it’s my little secret which I love when they are exposed. It has a lovely panty design at the front and back of the tights, along with the logo going around the sides of the waist.
It is fully sheer to the waist, so you can wear short clothing with this pair, especially in summer! The band itself is pretty great; it holds up well and doesn’t roll over itself either. It sits lovely on the waist!
The gusset is a small palm-sized patch which sits flush against the skin.
I have fallen in love with this pair; they are so gorgeous and look incredible on the legs too. That sheer colour really looks amazing and paired with other colours, it really does pop in such a lovely way. The quality is impressive too! I would certainly recommend
