I haven’t been in a Pretty Polly pair for some time now, so I am certainly glad to be in them again! I have purchased a few pairs to try out, and this is the first of many to come.
I wanted to get myself a lovely floral pair with a sheer plain base (instead of nets) to pair up with some outfits for Autumn/Winter.

My Outfit
Going super girly with my look today. I wore my off-the-shoulder jumper paired with my floral tights and I added my pink lace-up heels to finish the look. This can easily work with nude tights too!

The Packaging
On The Legs: let me start off by saying I love this design; it’s super feminine and looks super elegant. It is quite heavy looking, but I love how they look on the legs. You can wear something so simple and pair up with these tights to make it a statement outfit within seconds.
The quality of these are good, but they do snag very easily. After my shoot, I managed to snag them a little in places, so it’s something to keep an eye on if you’re out and about in them. These do hug the legs well, and they have plenty of stretch to them to give you good coverage.
The fit is true to size; these are a one size fits all, which means they have a lot of stretch in them to fit multiple sizes. This is great for me as I get even coverage all over the legs. However if you are bigger in size, just know that these will be looking a lot sheerer on your legs.
The feel of them are lovely and smooth, and you will find that the floral pattern sits on top of the tights so you will feel them when you run your hands down your legs. This isn’t an issue, but something to note if you don’t like that sort of thing. These don’t irritate the legs at all.
The Toes & Ankle: are not reinforced, which means you will need to take care with long/sharp toenails. I was a little sad about this as I love reinforced toes for that extra support. However, this also means you can wear them with open toe sandals and shoes!
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move. I also had a lovely fit around the feet and ankles, so there were no wrinkles.
The Waistband & Gusset: are not bad on this pair. I felt it was slightly big for me as it kept slipping slightly down the thighs, but other than that they are ok. These sit higher above the waist as it is a one size pair, and they do roll down itself a little now and again, which I found was a pain!
They also have a boxer brief to them, so the design stops at the top thigh and then becomes a thicker denier reinforced brief to the waistband.
These do not come with a gusset, as you get straight seam in the middle. I would recommend wearing underwear with this pair as I doubt it will feel comfortable going commando in them.
My Thoughts?
I gotta say these are a cute pair, and one that can work all year round. I loved my pairing with them today; the quality was alright but it could have been a little better. Overall I would recommend them for sure, but just make sure you take care whilst you’re in them!
