We are back in Pour Moi? and it has been some time. I do really like their lingerie, however I haven’t tried a lot of their hosiery before. This is the 2nd pair I am trying out and I am hoping they will serve me well!
This was another pair that was gifted off my wishlist.

Getting Them On: as these are one size, I expect a lot of stretch to them. I found that the further down I did my scrunch, it did tighten up on me slightly. I did have to pull these out a little, just so I could slip my foot into them and roll them up the legs.
These were fine going over anklets, as long as you take care.

On The Legs: so let me start off with saying the denier is great if you love sheer coverage. I thought these were great as they give even coverage on the legs and they look great from afar. Up close is a different story…
I found that these stocking have a lot of ring markings from the toes all the way to the welt. You can’t see it from a distance, however up close you can see the lines going across the legs. I really don’t like it when manufacturers do this; it makes them look super cheap!
The quality of these were not that great to be honest; the markings really bugged me all day and some people actually spotted them whilst I was walking too!! I can’t tell you how much I wanted to scream! Luckily I kept these pristine, so no snags or rips formed whilst I was in them.
Also if you like a matte finish, these are great. They are soft and smooth, however have no shine to them.
The fit of these are not that bad; they fit me well but did squeeze my thighs a lot; I will get into that further down the blog. Apart from that, I did have a little stretch so they could get on my legs easily. I can’t say I would recommend these for larger legs as I feel these won’t be sitting as stockings, but more as knee high socks on you.
The feel of them are nice on the legs. I liked the fact that these did not irritate the legs, and they didn’t move out of place either. They have a lovely soft finish to them, which I did like. It meant that my tunic could flow against it rather than rub its way across.
I can say I am not that impressed with these…
The Toes & Ankle: we have dark reinforced toes to this pair, which is not a bad thing. It just means it can limit your footwear choices a little.
My toes had enough wiggle room in them to begin with, however I did find that these did have pressure added during the day. I had to pinch them away from my toes a few times just to relieve some of the pressure. Once again, I wouldn’t recommend if you are larger footed.
Around the feet and ankles, it was a smooth, wrinkle-free finish. As I mentioned before, the ring markings occur around the feet too, which you will be able to see below.
The Bands: now I do like the welts on these, but I feel these could have been so much better.
My first issue was that the elastic where the nylon and lace meet – that was so tight on the thighs for me that it left deep markings after my wear. Not only that they did squeeze them a little, which did hurt from time to time. Luckily it didn’t squeeze my skin too much that it created a muffin top!
y second issue was that you have to be careful hooking straight onto lace like this. I normally tug my welts up, so they sit higher and stay put. This can lead to tension on the lace (especially with metal clasps) and end up ripping. I had to be extra careful today, and had to loosen up my clasps a little so it doesn’t tug too hard when sitting down.
Nevertheless, these welts are pretty and I do like the contrast as well. It’s a lovely pair that can work in the bedroom as well with outfits. I wouldn’t really recommend these for daily wear as I feel the lace would start to get a little wear and tear after a few uses. Not trying to be mean, but it is quite cheap lace and is quite thin, so it will rip easily if you’re not careful.
My Thoughts?
So not a bad pair, but I don’t see these having a long life span if I am honest. These are a great cheap and cheerful pair, but for daily use and avid hosiery wearer – these won’t last. Apart from that, they’re ok.
Wow!!! Look amazing on you princess Soni 🥰
Sounds like they’d be great if someone wants to spice things up with there partner 😍
