I love me some Platino, and I wanted to get into a pair as my last wasn’t the greatest (I did promo only on those). They sure looked amazing, but they kept on falling down during my evening out. So I am hoping these will be much better!

Toddling off to work today, I paired my shirt with faux leather shorts and added white court shoes to finish the look. I added a chunky cardigan on top instead of a jacket to keep it chic.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I am so excited to get these on the legs. I instantly saw a tan when I was doing my scrunch in my hands, and watched my legs transform when I was rolling them up the legs. The shade really is gorgeous, however I will get into that further down the blog.

I took care going over my anklets, just o make sure it doesn’t catch and then rolled them right up until they sat in place. I didn’t have to pinch and pull in place at all.

On The Legs: okay so now I can get talking about this colour, and how wonderful it looks. Luckily I have my arms covered because it’s a noticeable difference. I prefer that gorgeous honey glow on the legs than my pale arms! It instantly adds a beautiful tan, and with different lighting you can see it change slightly. I took some images against the teal and it did show up a little pale and more like my skin tone. Either way I am not complaining!

The quality of this pair is amazeballs; they feel luxurious and certainly look it too. Luckily I didn’t manage to damage these, which is a blessing. I can imagine these snagging quite easily as they are a thin material, even if they don’t look it.

The fit of these were true to size, and I felt this was the best fitting size for me. I normally toy between Small and Medium, however I think it depends on the style, as I know some run small and others are true to size. But this pair I had no issues with and there was great leg coverage so I didn’t have to tug them up or pull them in any way to fit.

The feel of them are FANTASTIC! They are so silky smooth, and have that slippery coating so you know these pack a a lovely glossy shine. Put it this way, my legs didn’t stay crossed for long as they were falling off each other with ease. These don’t itch or irritate the legs in any way either, and I loved being in my pair all day.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes which I am super pleased about. A beautiful pair like these need some support just to increase the longevity of them. I had plenty of stretch around the toes, as you can see with the images below. I also had enough wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: now these come with a lovely thick band and supposedly flat seams. Luckily I was wearing a shirt and shorts today so you couldn’t see this poke through a bodycon dress. I can’t say the seams stayed flat as they kept bunching like this during my wear the whole day. I did sit them high on the waist as shown, however I did find them slip down and roll over itself a few times. I did have to keep setting it every so often just because it was more comfortable when it was flat against the skin.

Apart from that, I do like the thick band and how soft it was but it was a lot of hassle to be honest.

These do come with a cotton gusset, that sits flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

A brilliant pair if you’re looking for something shiny for summer. I loved the quality, I loved the fit but the waistband did let me down here. It kept me readjusting it during the day, which is not the point of wearing tights. I would still recommend this pair, irrespective of that.
