Platino Panty Luxe Fata

Let’s start Monday off right… Now this is an interesting pair from Platino – which really reminds me of the CdR Uppsala range. I haven’t done much Platino before, but I am certainly looking forward to trying these out for sure!

The Review

From The Website: Presentation: Pack of 1

Invisible toe
Without demarcacion
Sparkle with seam
80% poliamida-20% Elastane

The Packaging: so this little package is gonna be interesting!! The front is pretty plain, with the model wearing the pair inside. The back doesn’t go into much detail to be honest but it isn’t a bad thing.

When you get in, you will find the hosiery wrapped around plain card. The first thing I can tell you is that these feel and look amazing – and that’s before getting them on!

Getting Them On: so I’m not gonna lie but I struggled big time to get my foot into these at first. As you do your scrunch and roll, you will find it starts to get really tight towards the bottom, which worried me as I still had to get my foot into this!

I took my time to angle it right, and really tugged these up so I could work them up my leg. That little point is where I got my big toe into so it could sit a little better in my heels. From there, I had to work with a backseam as well, which took time to make sure I got it as straight as I could before setting it.

On The Legs: well these look absolutely divine! I love the look, and the fact that it’s not too heavy on the shine just makes them even more perfect! I wore mine like a pair of leggings this time, and it worked so well!

The denier is so thick on these, that no matter how much you stretch them, you won’t get any sin showing through! The quality of these are amazing. I tugged, stretched them out as much as I could, really went to town with them and not once did they look like they were about to rip, or damage easily.

The fit of these are so snug on the legs, which I would say make sure you check the sizing guide. If you feel unsure, then go one size up to be on the safe side as they do have stretch but just enough for your size. I could easily got into a medium, but I wasn’t too sure what I was working with to begin with, so I went with small and it was fine for me.

The feel of them are amazing; I wish I could explain how gorgeous they are! They are so soft and really smooth – both inside and out and look killer on the legs! You can easily run your hands up and down these – seriously I cannot explain how nice they are! I think you just need to check out the pictures so you see what I mean!

I will say that you will get wrinkles wearing these; I had them around the knees and ankles. This is normal due to the thickness, and trying to get a flush finish on the legs is just impossible!

Are these like the CdR Uppsala?” – to a certain extent they are. The Uppsala range has more stretch to them, a lot more gloss and they are more like tights than leggings. This pair look more like leggings, are a lot more fitted to the legs and not as glossy.

The Toes & Ankle: are really fitted so you won’t have much room to wiggle those toes to be honest. I would recommend keeping your nails short in these as they will squish your toes together as much as they can, but no pressure will be added so it’s alright in that sense.

Around the feet, you can see that they really are like a bandage around them, so they will struggle to breathe in these.

The Waistband & Gusset: I will mainly let the pictures do the talking here, but I gotta say this a good waistband. I first tugged them too high, so had to push them down so it sat nicely on the legs and around the waist. They band itself is great and is super comfortable to wear. It doesn’t dig in at all, which is even better if you wish to wear them for longer periods of time.

This doesn’t have a gusset in them at all, which you can see below.

My Thoughts?

I absolutely love them and would certainly recommend them for sure! I do love the way they look and fit on the legs, and that thickness is perfect if you want to wear them as leggings or tights. These are super versatile and a lot more toned down compared to the CdR Uppsala range!

  2. Platino fata de luxe arent very stretch than Wolford satin de luxe and Fogal Rapallo . I used size M of Platino . This tigths wasnt strech when you put . That produced several tinny hole around seams . The size l is to big for me .
