And here we go in the Platino Nacar! I have had these on my wishlist for so long, and I got them gifted a while back so I had to get my legs into them as soon as to review!

I used to hear so many great things about Platino, and I tried my first pair around 3 years ago now (I LOVED THEM!) and ever since I have always tried to get my hands on them wherever I can!

Feeling slightly summery today; I wore my tea dress (I don’t know why they actually call it that) paired with my open toe wedges. I could have easily worn shoes or sandals, but I really miss walking around in wedges.

The Packaging: I have to say I have never received a pair of hosiery like this  before! It came in such a big box (I have no idea why!) which could have fit in a good few pairs! It did state my name and address on there (even though it came in a grey packaging bag with the details already on there) so I had to blank that out so I can show you properly.

You use the small hole to pull out your hosiery and there you go! So pretty!

The actual packaging is pretty simple and basic; not much to say regarding the pair on the back (the blurb section).

When you get in, these are horizontally folded around card, so you get that foot and leg shaping to it. I have to say these are super silky smooth, so do make sure you have a pair of hosiery gloves at hand!

 

Getting Them On: I got my gloves on and took my time getting these on. They have such a gorgeous oily feel to them, and the last thing I want to do is rush them up the legs and ruining them before I have even spent a day in them!

I took my time over my anklets and rolling up the legs. It slipped on super easy and was so smooth rolling them up too.

 

On The Legs: well I did a mix of flash and natural lighting for my images below, so you can see what it looks like. When the sun hits it, oh my god they really do shine!

The quality of these are just fab; I’m not gonna lie I did manage to snag these right at the very last minute when I was getting them off, but even so they didn’t really run. They just stayed snagged, which I was super impressed with.

They don’t have much stretch to them as you get with other pairs, but this is where you need to make sure you know your sizing before you buy. I guessed mine as I had no idea with the sizing guide on Amazon, and it worked for me. But I wouldn’t wing it like that again next time! The fit of these are gorgeous; they really do hug my legs well and there is no gapping whatsoever behind the knee or around the ankles.

The feel of them are just divine; super smooth, super soft and it has that gorgeous silky feel to them. It’s like a slippy coating on top which gives that gorgeous oily shine to them. I loved them and they really did make my legs look amazing, even when the sun wasn’t on them. I had this lovely tan colour, which then transformed into something magical once some light hit it.

 

The Toes & Ankle: so around the toes, I can see these are invisibly reinforced as the stitching is different compared to the rest of the leg (well I’m sticking with that theory) and these have plenty of wiggle room in them too. At first it did feel slightly tight, but then once you wiggle your toes and adjust accordingly, they are just fine. I had no issues with them at all during the day.

There was no pressure added around the toes or feet either during the day, which is great so I can just enjoy wearing them!

Around the ankle, it’s a lovely smooth fitted finish 🙂

 

The Waistband: now the waistband has been so good to me today. It has stayed in place all day without any issues and it has enough elastic grip to just hug the waist rather than clench it. As you can see below, it’s a gorgeous smooth finish on the stomach, and no signs of any rolling down either.

I got to say I do love this band!

 

 

My Thoughts?

I would certainly recommend these for sure. I cannot praise these enough and these are perfect for summer as well! I love the quality of them and that gorgeous tan shine it has too!
