Penti Trendy Polka Dot Tights

Bring on my 2nd pair of Penti hosiery. I have 2 more pairs to go, and I wanted to get these on the legs a little quicker than the others.

I bought this pair from Antalya when I went last year, and I cannot seem to find any more information on their website about this pair. There are some alternative styles, but not the pair I am reviewing today for you.

If you missed my last review which I did over the Christmas period, then hit the link below (opens in a new tab):

My Outfit

I went pretty simple and actually hid my tights today. I wore my t-shirt dress, paired with my grey thigh boots. Even though it covered most of the legs, they still owned it peering through the gap.

The Review

The Packaging: has the model on the front in the pair along with the brand name and model at the bottom. The back goes into a little detail about the tights.

When you get in, you will find these wrapped around promotional card and flat folded.

On The Legs: well I will get right into it for you all! The first thing is the quality. Now this is something that lacked for me this time round. I was fine in them the whole day (and yep I ever wore them in my Femme Luxe Clothing Review (Part 13) as well if you missed it. These snag and rip so easily, and I mean it didn’t take much at all. I ended up with so many in different places, and it bugged the hell out of me all day long. Luckily I wore my long boots to cover most of it up.

The fit of them are true to size, and there isn’t much stretch to them so I would make sure you check out the sizing guide before purchasing a pair.

The feel of them are a rough matte finish. You can tell these are a cheap pair from the moment I did my scrunch and roll; it felt cheap, it felt slightly rough, it felt like something I could pick up for £1.00 off eBay or something. I was not impressed compared to my last pair I reviewed.

I wonder what they’re more pricier pairs are like on the legs now if these are the affordable range.

The design of them I like however, especially that they are a matte finish. I like matte for this reason as it emphasises the legs really well and makes them look a little slimmer, and with added polka dots they look super cute!

The Toes & Ankle: well as you can see, these have reinforced toes which cover the toes fully (and I love it!) and then works into the polka dot design. Although saying that, as these tights snag so quickly and easily, I wouldn’t be surprised if the reinforced part isn’t that strong!

There is plenty of wiggle room in them and no pressure added during the day either.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s a lovely fitted smooth finish.

The Waistband & Gusset: is not bad to be honest. The band itself is pretty thick and sits around the waist (well belly button on me) and stays put the whole time they are on. They didn’t roll down or anything either which is a bonus.

These have the reinforced boxer brief part to them which starts from the band and ends at the top of the thighs.

The gusset isn’t cotton, so I’m not too sure if this would cause irritation if no underwear is worn. It’s around palm-sized in terms of size 🙂

My Thoughts?

Not my favourites I have to admit due to quality issues, but then again I have some more coming up shortly so fingers crossed they will change my viewpoint after this pair!
