Oroblu Repos 40 Tights

Oh Oroblu I have missed you. I haven’t been in this brand for a while (my usual saying) and I am missing nudes once again. It was a lovely day today, so I am dressing up like it’s spring and then layering as it’s winter still!

The Review

From The Website: Oroblu Repos 40 Tights are one of their best selling support tights. They are sheer with a graded compression on the leg with lavender fragranced energising aromatherapy action. With a compression value of 6/10mmHg, it is strong at the ankle, medium on the leg and moderate on the thigh, the control top flattens the tummy and supports the back. These tights cover and massage the legs which helps the blood circulation. They also support the legs and make them look slimmer and more elegant. Great for ladies who are always on the go!

N.B. This product is 40 denier in weight, but has a sheer appearance.
Also, the inner plastic bag is not sealed by manufacturer. However, all Repos items are new and pristine.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: so these are a light compression pair, which means you can scrunch and roll without it feeling too tights near to the foot area. I managed to roll these up with ease and I only needed to tug slightly.

These were fine going over anklets as well.

On The Legs: so the best part is the sheerness of a 40 denier pair. These are supposed to look thick, but they actually don’t. The shade of colour help as it blends with my skin tone so well, it looks pretty natural which means you can’t tell the thickness at all. I quite like it to be honest.

The quality of this pair is just lovely. I had no issues with snagging or rips, and they took care of my legs today whilst I was out and about. Oroblu has never really let me down, and it carried that on with this pair today.

The fit was spot on, and I had enough material to achieve even leg coverage. I got a size medium because small was not available, and it’s not something I would moan about either. Medium felt a lot better for me to be honest.

The feel of them were so soft and smooth, to the point that my dress just glides right across my legs with ease. These don’t cause any irritation, especially if they are compression and supposed to have long wear time to them. I really enjoyed wearing them today, and they have been a dream to be in.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes a you can see below. What I like is you get decent toe coverage, however it also means that you see it peer through depending on what footwear you pick to wear with them. Mine did poke out a little where it pointed in the middle, but it wasn’t too much of a big deal.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was applied during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, there was no wrinkling at all.

The Waistband & Gusset: another great waistband to add onto my list. These fit me perfectly, and hugged the waist really well. There was enough material to ensure that it didn’t feel tight during my wear. I like the fact it comes with reinforcement underneath the band.

These also come with a cotton gusset, that sits flush against the skin so you have the option to wear or not wear underwear.

My Thoughts?

Absolutely love this pair. It’s a great light compression pair, with a lovely tan shade to add to the legs. The fit was spot on, the feel was beautiful and my wear today has been wonderful.
