Socks are making a comeback to the blog, and I have an adorable pair to review today. I don’t do this type much, however I wish I did as lace socks are one of those pairs you can wear with almost any type of footwear!

The Review

From The Website: All Colours is one of the most popular ranges of coloured tights in the world of leg wear. Now, they have expanded this range and are making beautiful lace socks too. These have taken the dizzying array of colours available and brought a similar variety to their smaller accessories range. They have a tulle base for durability, a delicate rose pattern for a feminine look, and a comfort border.

The Packaging: they came without any packaging (as most socks do). The front shows the brand name, model name and the colour. The back goes into a little more detail about the pair.

I would advise opening these slowly just so you don’t damage them.

 

Getting Them On: is super easy peasy. Just a scrunch and roll here. I tucked my anklets instead of leaving them out as it was more comfortable to do so.

 

On The Feet: well I have to say they are so comfortable to wear and I was in them all day long! They hug the feet so well and they don’t restrict you in any way. The best part is that you don’t perspire a lot wearing these; I was pretty impressed with that. They don’t have anything special in them to stop it, but it’s something I noticed being in them.

I love this colour too; it’s under the name milk which is a lovely white-ish colour and works so well with the lace. You can get these in numerous colours, and I am sure they would look as stunning as this pair do.

The fit of them are great; as it’s a one pair size, these will have plenty of stretch in them. However if you are large-footed, then you may need to check out the sizing guide before purchasing as I wouldn’t want you left disappointed.

The feel of them are so soft and lovely against the skin; they don’t irritate at all and I was in them all day so I can tell you that these are a pair you can be in them all day.

 

 

Around The Toes & Ankle: I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes and no pressure was added around this section. They don’t have reinforced toes to them, which is a shame, but then again not many nylon socks do.

The ankles have a great elasticated band which doesn’t squeeze your ankles. These are basically like a waistband on a pair of tights!

My Thoughts?

I absolutely adore this pair and that gorgeous lace detailing to them. They feel amazing, they fit so well and they are so comfortable. I would certainly recommend these!
